Nice old-fashioned castle with excellent restaurant
At this level of room prices the continental breakfast with additional billing for all extras is petty

We really enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and the fantastic restaurant at this hotel. The breakfast was also very nice. The staff was wonderful and we appreciated their trust in us by not asking for a credit card guarantee. a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Felt happy, no complaints whatsoever.

The only thing we did not know was the low flying planes over the castle.

Everything. Can't fault it except the wine list was very limited for a hotel of this class. Just shows that a privately owned and well managed hotel will always beat a corporate chain hotel for overall quality and service. The smoking area of the main reception and bar just brilliant for the cigar with the brandy. Brilliantly un-American and un-PC.
Tiny and random wine list (one wine from Italy, one from South Africa, one from Chile, one from France and three from Germany) in both the bar and the restaurant.

The restaurant downstairs overlooking the grounds was a pleasant surprise, with delicious food and attentive service. The Michelin starred “Nero” restaurant exceeded expectations. We also enjoyed the Sunday fish market. The rooms were spacious and traditional, and the bathrooms were luxurious. The impeccable service and impressive breakfast spread made our stay truly enjoyable.
The staff in the bar area could benefit from better communication and customer service skills.

We recently enjoyed a romantic escape at a stunning hotel nestled in picturesque surroundings. The highlight of our stay was the luxurious room equipped with modern amenities and a beautiful view of the private park. Another aspect we loved was the delicious cuisine at the hotel's restaurants, especially the seasonal ingredients and friendly service.
We did have a few minor issues during our stay. The internet connection was unreliable, which was frustrating when trying to stay connected with loved ones.

This hotel is a luxurious oasis! From the full body massage to the beauty treatment, every detail is taken care of with exclusive amenities. The atmospheric treatment room provided a relaxing and peaceful space to rejuvenate. We enjoyed a delicious dinner at the restaurant and in-room breakfast was a wonderful way to start each day. The sun terrace and garden area were idyllic and provided the perfect backdrop for contemplating.
The only negative is that the location is slightly remote, but the private facilities definitely made up for it.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The cleanliness of the hotel facilities was impressive, particularly the spotless gym and public pool. Despite being on the flight path of a nearby airport, the hotel provided transportation to and from the airport, making it a convenient location for those flying in. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of tasty options to choose from.

During my New Year stay, I enjoyed the warm reception from the hotel staff which gave a sense of being at home. The elegant and warm room decor added to the luxurious atmosphere of this beautiful hotel. I was impressed by the excellent facilities, the wide variety of nearby restaurants, as well as the shops which made my stay more convenient.
The gym was a bit small and outdated, lacking adequate fitness equipment. , the pricing for some of the additional activities seemed to be a little higher compared to other hotels in the same area.
