We have stayed at this lovely hotel several times now and each time we have been impressed by its charm and comfort. The location in a quiet neighborhood overlooking the river Trave is simply breathtaking. The hotel's garden, with its beautiful views, is the perfect spot to unwind and relax after a day of exploring. We also enjoyed the warm and friendly service from the staff, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was exceptional. Additionally, the room amenities were top-notch, with features like ironing facilities, a mini-bar, and a flat-screen TV for our entertainment. The hotel also offers a range of services such as room service and laundry facilities, making our stay even more convenient.

Calm, good to recharge battery. Nice quality food, good chef, and felt staff was doing great job to make the stay enjoyable.

The only point would be to get more translation of E.g the menu, in french.

WiFi didn't work! It just didn't connect. We arrived after 21:00, and there was no one to help and it was very sad, as I really expected to have it. Another thing that you may not like about this hotel - it is in a middle of nowhere! It is a very small willage with nothing around.

The location of the hotel on the outskirts of the city was truly refreshing, surrounded by nature and with a lovely garden. The rooms were clean and spacious, providing a comfortable stay. The restaurant offered delicious food and the breakfast had a good variety of options. The service was attentive and the staff made us feel welcome. the hotel had facilities for outdoor activities and walking.

The receptionist lacked local information about nearby attractions.

Very nice room, lovely hotel setting. Nice breakfast. An easy ten minute trip to Lubeck and a good location for a trip to the sea. We didn't have dinner at the hotel this trip but will next time.

I had a wonderful stay in this hotel. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, as it was close to both the river and the forest. Additionally, the breakfast was delicious and provided a great start to the day.

Staff at reception and restaurant were excellent. Room large and comfortable. Restaurant food and atmosphere were great. We only stayed 1 night on our way to another destination but would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting this area.

The Friederikenhof Hotel Restaurant & Spa exceeded our expectations in every way. The country-style hotel offered ample parking and WiFi, making our stay convenient. The friendly reception made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The outstanding breakfast had a wide variety of options, including fresh fruit and gluten-free bread upon request. The hotel spa was a great bonus, and we enjoyed relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The proximity to Old Town Lubeck, just a 15-minute drive away, was a major plus.

We felt very well taken care of during our stay at the Friederikenhof Hotel Restaurant & Spa. No complaints at all.

Beautiful rooms, spacious, clean, well equipped. Tasteful decor and furniture. The landings and lobbies were tastefully ornamented as were the gardens, with a very festive theme throughout. Very tidy breakfast room, excellent buffet on offer and nice views across the fields and canal. The restaurant was also excellent, friendly staff and well presented food from a good choice of menu. Everyone we encountered connected with the hotel was friendly, polite and helpful. We had a very nice 3 night stay, very relaxing and would recommend without hesitation.

The only negative we could write would be the limited space for guest vehicles on the car park if the (excellent) restaurant is busy. We had to park on the narrow lane for 2 nights of the stay due to this.

Very friendly staff. Warm and cosy decoration, spacious and comfortable room. Special space for children play outside the rooms, withour disturbing the customers, even if bad weather outside.

No lift for the second floor, but I got help to take the luggage upstairs. I would suggest to change the old tv to Flat screen (the German transmission is already adapted for the flat screen)
