I recently stayed at Hotel Peruskenea for one night as a stopover on my journey from Bordeaux to Valencia. The hotel is located in the heart of Basaburua Navarra, surrounded by beautiful oak and beech woodlands. The peaceful and quiet environment was truly amazing, with the enchanting symphony of the woodlands at night. The hotel itself is a charming house built in wood with lovely local rural details. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, especially Santiago, who went above and beyond to assist us during a medical emergency. The food at the hotel was exceptional, with delicious local cuisine that rivaled the best restaurants. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the jet bath was a luxurious touch. I will definitely be returning on my next trip.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

I got great value for my money at Peruskenea. The room had all the necessary amenities and even had a bathtub and a radio in the wall speakers. The location was amazing, surrounded by beautiful oak and beech woodlands full of wildlife. The staff, especially Santiago, were incredibly kind and attentive, going above and beyond to help during a medical emergency.
The breakfast experience could have been improved by offering a greater variety of options.

The room was lovely, supplied with tea, an electric teapot and locally prodced honey.
I was charged 100 Euros per night, 25 Euros more per night than my guaranteed rate of 75 Euros

I truly enjoyed the warm and cozy atmosphere of the hotel. The interior decorations had a charming rustic touch that made me feel right at home. The common areas were well-maintained and easily accessible for a senior person like myself. It was a delight to relax in the comfortable lounge and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
I would have loved if there were more activities or facilities specifically catered towards senior guests.

I had an amazing experience at a charming hotel nestled in beautiful countryside. The staff, especially Santiago, were exceptional. When my father had a medical emergency at 2am, Santiago went above and beyond, speaking to the emergency services and driving him to the medical center. He stayed until 4am to ensure my father was okay. Santiago was empathetic, calming, and truly went the extra mile. The management also accommodated our needs by allowing us to stay in the room till late. The breakfast spread with fresh smoked salmon, baked breads, and cured meats and cheeses was delicious.
Nothing to be said. 😊

The quiate, rural location. The excellent, comfortable and characterful rooms with lots of space.
The food was poor in comparison to the quality of the accommodation itself. It was also expensive for what you got. The staff were a bit glum - though not unhelpful.

I was delighted with the cozy and charming decor of the hotel. The rustic details and warm atmosphere made me feel right at home. The general areas were also well maintained and clean, perfect for a senior person like me to relax and enjoy. I was pleasantly surprised by how accessible the hotel was for senior people, with easy access to all the facilities and a comfortable environment that catered to our needs.
It would have been even better if the children working there had been more attentive and considerate towards senior guests. A little more assistance and understanding would have made our vacation even more enjoyable.

The hotel's general areas were cozy and inviting, making me feel right at home. As a senior woman, I appreciated the accessibility of the hotel, with its well-maintained paths and easy navigation around the premises.
I would have preferred if the children working there had provided more organized activities for senior guests.

The rooms at Hotel Peruskenea reflect the beautiful countryside, making me feel like I was truly immersed in nature. The feather duvets, latex mattresses, and cotton bed linen provided a cozy and comfortable sleep experience. The balcony in my double room offered a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the air conditioning in the room as I prefer fresh air. But I understand that others might appreciate it, especially during warmer seasons.

I had the most peaceful and relaxing stay at this charming countryside hotel. The remote location was exactly what I was looking for, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The room I stayed in was spacious and conveniently located on a level without stairs, which made it easy for me and my dog. The jet bath in the room was a delightful treat. The highlight of my stay was the three-course meal option in the evening, which not only tasted delicious but also came at a great value of 30€, including a bottle of wine. The attentive hosts made sure I felt welcome and satisfied throughout my stay. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable and peaceful getaway.
There were a couple of minor drawbacks during my stay. the internet reception was a bit patchy, but since I was there for only one night, it didn't bother me much.

The room had all the necessary amenities - bathtub, tea/coffee, kettle. There were speakers in the wall with a radio. The hotel had a small outside yard with tables. Late checkout until 4pm was allowed. The staff, especially Santiago, was exceptional - he assisted during a medical emergency, even driving to the medical centre. The breakfast offered fresh smoked salmon, baked breads, cured meats, and cheeses. The hotel's charming decor and comfy rooms ensured a pleasant stay.
