I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location was perfect, right on the beach and in a grassed area next to the restaurant where I could enjoy drinks late into the evening. The staff, especially the receptionist, were friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to assist me when I had a problem with the air conditioning on the second night. The room amenities were top-notch, with a heated room, air conditioning, and an in-room safe. The dining options were excellent too, with a restaurant and a bar/lounge area.

I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

freeway was located right by the hotel. modern interior design. within short walking distance to attractions, including la cala de mijas. i used parking on site.

We appreciated the facilities and the food and decent prices. The free Wi Fi was a cherry on top. Stay there and enjoy your Mijas Costa vacation. Private parking on-site was provided.

We loved our stay at this hotel in Calamijas! The hotel was spotlessly clean and had fantastic facilities, including a lovely outdoor pool and indoor jacuzzi. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the location was great - just a short walk to the beach and nearby restaurants, bars, and shops. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

It was a very relaxing hotel with a lovely pool area. The rooms were perfectly cleaned and the beds were comfortable. There were plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas for everybody at the pool.

The shower took a lot of manipulating to get it to the correct temperature.

The main reception area is conveniently located near the beach, making it easy to access the stunning coastline whenever we wanted. the hotel is situated right next to the restaurant, allowing us to enjoy refreshing drinks late into the evening without having to travel far. being away from noisy areas ensured a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere during our stay.

Some of the facilities and public areas of the hotel seemed to be neglected, giving a less-than-pleasant impression.

Quiet relaxing really nice staff good location will come again

Great location for travelling to Malaga airport if you wish to avoid the bigger resorts. We were on our way home from our stay at the Costa de Luz and spent our last two nights at the Calamijas Hotel. The hotel is modern in design with a big pool and lots of sunbeds and parasols. The pool bar and restaurant serves delicious food and breakfast was substantial and tasty. The staff at reception were most pleasant and helpful as were the young serving staff in the restaurants. This hotel is an oasis and I will definitly stay there again and recommend it to my friends.

The info on the hotel stated that every room came "with its own terrace or balcony". This was a big consideration for me when looking for a place to stay however, this is not the case as our room had neither. This was very dissappointing. This is something which would have to be confirmed to me before I would make another booking.

Nice staff and location close to the beach. Clean room with a fridge and free water. The breakfast was good with a variety of options.

The walls were too thin, and you could hear everything from the neighbouring rooms. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room.

We stayed at this hotel last year and had a pleasant time, so we thought we would return again this year. It is best suited for couples wanting a relaxing break, or families. The beach is a short walk away, around ten minutes, also plenty of restaurants to choose from which are also within walking distance.

On both occasions that we stayed at the Calamijas hotel the poolside bar was closed during the week, though it did open for the weekends, which were always busier. We did think this was odd, as it was the middle of June, and not exactly early in the season. You could have lunch outside the dining room and breakfast area, but the menu, though fine for us, was limited. We felt that because this a catering school for fine dining, that maybe, it didn't want to succumb to the usual beach fare.

Friendly, helpful, welcoming staff. Clean and comfortable room. Fridge with free water and coca cola daily. Swimming pool and sunbeds and towels for poolside use. Great selection of fresh food at buffet breakfast.

Location as you had to cross a bridge over busy motorway to reach main area of Mijas and beach.
