I was pleasantly surprised by the value for money at this hotel. The prices were very reasonable and the attention to detail was impressive. The location, with easy access to tram connections, made it a convenient choice for exploring the surrounding area. The staff were friendly and the rooms were clean, with a pleasant bathroom. The breakfast exceeded my expectations with a variety of options to choose from.
All in all, I couldn't find any major faults with my stay.

The room was pretty and cozy, perfect for a romantic getaway with my partner. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. The location was ideal since it was near a bus station and an S-Bahn, making it easy to travel around the city. We also enjoyed the nearby shopping and dining options, with excellent restaurants just a few steps away.
Our stay was marred by some significant issues. the breakfast was not up to our standards, with tasteless and low-quality options.

Friendly staff and very clean. Beds were comfortable too. Breakfast was very good. The hotel is located directly at the train station, the stadium is only three stations away.
The bathroom was a little tight. The rooms facing the main road are quite noisy.

This hotel really knows how to make your stay comfortable. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to assist you. I was impressed with their attention to detail, as they even left chocolates in the room for us. The location is perfect, with easy access to the main street and shopping area. The tram stop is just across the road, making it convenient to explore the city and visit attractions like the Arena and the Zoo.

Very friendly and helpful staff, very clean and excellent food which is excellent value. Enjoyed my stay and would re-book without hesitation.
Only slight problem is that all room details are all in German, not a problem for me but could be for someone with limited language skills as us brits can be. But this was the same across Gelsenkirchen as a whole.

Located in a key area for transport — very convenient for getting to all the main attractions. The breakfast selection was great, including hot food and fresh fruits and vegetables. The staff were all helpful and friendly, which made for a comfortable stay.
The rooms were a bit noisy, and not very soundproofed from the outside. There was no lounge area or place to relax in the hotel, which would have been nice for down time.
