The meals at the restaurant downstairs were delicious and affordable. There were also shops nearby for souvenirs, food, and drinks. Perfect for low-budget travellers!

Located right on the Camino, this hotel provides trekkers with a convenient, comfortable stay. The well-staffed restaurant serves high-quality food, and the friendly staff at the shop selling regional wine and food ensures an enjoyable experience. The rooms are spacious, with lovely balconies and large bathrooms. The air conditioning and laundry room with a dryer are added benefits.

In the surrounding area, there are some truck stop cafes which may not meet all visitors’ needs.

This hotel is definitely worth the money, especially considering its convenient location right on the Camino de Santiago. The staff was attentive and provided excellent service throughout my stay. The rooms were clean and quiet, providing a comfortable space for hikers like myself. I also appreciated the attention to detail, such as the availability of basic amenities and the inclusion of a dryer in the rooms. Lastly, the breakfast offered at this hotel was delicious and a great way to start the day.

Everything was great at this hotel.

Great natural surroundings, perfect for hiking. Lovely towns with rich cultural past. Open 24-hour cafeteria with terrace. Easy access to motorway for touring. Souvenir shop with homemade jams. Ancares Leoneses are a must-visit.

I just loved being stuck in the middle of nowhere and feeling unwelcome while walking the Camino. So much fun!

Great location with stunning views and friendly staff. The hotel's restaurant served delicious traditional dishes and the rooms were clean and cozy. The balcony was a great addition as it offered breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. The staff were always happy to help and made our stay comfortable.

The town itself was very quiet with limited facilities, which is not ideal if you're looking for more activities to do outside of the hotel. The reception desk could be better organized as we had to wait a bit to check in and there was a bit of confusion over the wifi password.

The cleanliness of the hotel was exceptional, and my room was spacious and comfortable. The WiFi connection was reliable, and the bathroom was clean and well-maintained. I particularly enjoyed the design and ambiance of the hotel, reminiscent of the UK. The restaurant downstairs offered delicious and affordable meals, and there were also convenient souvenir and grocery shops. The location on the Camino route made it a great choice for pilgrims like myself.

The rooms at Hotel Valcarce Camino De Santiago are super cozy and comfortable. The private bathrooms are a big plus, and they have both a bath and a shower. The wooden floors give a nice touch to the room, and the free toiletries and hair dryer come in handy. it's a great place to relax after a long day of exploring.

Personally, I found the only downside to be the size of the rooms. But hey, that's just my opinion.
