The Tresa Bay hotel offers excellent value for money, with reasonable prices for a lakeside location. The staff are very friendly and attentive, ensuring that everything is clean and in working order. The rooms, with their huge balconies directly on the water, provide stunning views of the bay, just as mentioned by a previous reviewer. In terms of breakfast, the buffet is superb, offering a variety of delicious options to start your day.
All aspects of this hotel were more than satisfactory.

When we arrived and parked our car outside the hotel, we were very disappointed. All we saw was a boring square building. The side facing the lake where all the rooms were was much better. The hotel was a bit away from all the tourist attractions, but we fully enjoyed the peaceful environment. Despite it is not close to town, the train was just across the street which made it very convenient. The buffet breakfast was very good. I made a mistake on the booking, instead of booking it for June, I booked it for July, and I only found out the day before our departure. I called the hotel, there was no problem changing our reservation. They even offered a free upgrade when we arrived. I am sure the hotel much rather us coming in June then in July when it's peak season, nevertheless it was a very nice gesture on their part. Overall we enjoyed our stay in Tresa Bay Hotel and will go back again.

The Tresa Bay Hotel in Ponte Tresa was a delightful surprise! the location right on the lake was absolutely stunning, offering breathtaking views of the mountains. Secondly, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and were very helpful, just like in one of the reviews. Lastly, the rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, with high-quality bedding just like the reviewer mentioned. Additionally, the breakfast spread was delicious and offered a good variety of options to choose from.
No improvements needed, everything was perfect.

Nice and friendly staff w/ excellent location right on Lake Lugano, with a short drive (or nice bike ride) to Lago Maggiore along the Swiss- Italian border. Will stay here again definitely!
The rooms in the old part of the hotel need to be modernized, parking could be difficult but we didnot have a problem.

The staff was very helpful and competent. The location was excellent. We stayed in the "Superior" room for 7 nights.
A little tough for me to back out of the parking area safely. It's difficult to see oncoming traffic.

Great location near the Swiss-Italian border, easy to access by train. The views of the mountains and lake were stunning, truly breathtaking! The staff was friendly and very helpful. The restaurant food was outstanding, especially the local fish dishes. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and there was a nice playroom for families with young children, which was a thoughtful touch.
The breakfast buffet was a bit limited, but it was still satisfying. , the noise from the nearby road could be heard from the balcony, but it wasn't too much of an issue inside the room.

Wonderful view from the room. Very clean. Restaurant variable - expensive but some dishes great others not worth the price. Only about 100m to the Italian border - walk to Italy for a pizza ? I did - very nice.

My new year stay was a great experience. The stunning view of the mountains from the room was the main highlight of the stay. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable with all the amenities required. The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring the nearby area, with easy access to public transport. The hotel's impressive restaurant served local cuisine that was delicious and affordable. The staff were attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist, making the stay more pleasant.
The noise from the busy road which made it difficult to enjoy the balcony at times. the pillows were too soft, leaving me with a sore neck in the mornings.

I recently spent a night at a hotel with the most breathtaking view. From the large balcony of my room, I had an uninterrupted vista of the sparkling lake and surrounding beauty. It was the perfect spot to sit back, soak up the sun and take in the tranquility. Another great aspect was the friendly and attentive staff who made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. They were always ready to assist and had great recommendations for nearby attractions. Additionally, I was pleasantly surprised by the attention to detail in the room, which had all the basic amenities I needed for a comfortable stay.
All in all, my stay at this hotel was fantastic. There was really nothing that could have been improved.

We loved this hotel's location right on the lake with stunning views from all the rooms and balconies. It is also very close to the Ponte Tresa market which was convenient for us. The hotel's cleanliness was commendable, and the staff was friendly and accommodating.
Nothing to mention.
