This exquisite hotel offers 500 rooms and it has a great location next to the subway. The lobby is huge, free cell phones are provided, and there's a duty-free shop. The garden and restaurants also received praise. The staff bends over backwards for guests. If you have incoming calls, your television volume will decrease and the call can even be transferred to the free cell phone. The discount rate is around W230,000.

The Shilla Seoul Hotel is placed in 23 acres of wooded parkland in downtown Seoul, close to the Deoksugung Palace, Korea Folk Village, the National Museum and the War Memorial of Korea.

Getting there

The hotel is set across the street from Jangchung Gymnasium or Dongguk University in Jangchung-dong in Seoul. It is easy reachable by means of subway line three to Dongdaeipgu Station and by bus 144, 407, 7212, or 301 to Jangchung Gymnasium bus stop. If you arrive at the Incheon International Airport, take the KAL limousine bus or taxi to get to the venue.

Much cheaper than a cab, nice location and im sure that its facilities are better than any other famous European hotel chains. The staff is very friendly, rooms are a good size and comfortable, the breakfast buffet is fresh and tasty. Korean service is excellent.

The fitness center was well equipped and this hotel was gorgeous. The extra price was very reasonable and btw, the pastry shop in the lobby was fantastic. The service was excellent and the concierge was wonderful. The room was modern and the Chinese restaurant was very tasty.

Great stay at shilla and deifinitely worth the extra money. The service is superb, the beds are very comfortable and the staff could not do more for you and the breakfast is one of the best in Asia.
