The castle is an impressive sight, and although you don't stay in it, the hotel itself is just as stunning. The restaurant is absolutely breathtaking and the staff are incredibly helpful. It's a perfect location for both families and couples, with its peaceful and leafy surroundings. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, with comfortable beds. The hotel is conveniently located near the city center, with free parking just a short walk away. The breakfast buffet is decent, offering a good variety of options. it's a fantastic value for money and a great place to spend an evening and night.

Beautiful location and setting. The hotel itself was lovely. It was a family weekend break to watch moto GP and the location was idea to travel to and from the circuit every day. Accommodation for a family of four was excellent and the kids loved their room.

I would not recommend this hotel as a business hotel, very bad lights at rooms, prepared only for sleeping. Restaurant is nice but you have to book table earlier.

The completely redesigned colonial-style rooms at Schlosshotel Klaffenbach are a breath of fresh air! As someone who craves a direct connection with nature, I felt like I was brought closer to the outdoors with the earthy tones and natural materials used in the room design. It was like being wrapped in a cozy cocoon of tranquility.

Personally, I found the corner bathtub in the spacious bathroom to be a little cramped for my taste. But hey, that's just my preference, and I'm sure others might still enjoy a relaxing soak in it!

Overall very good value for money and child-friendly. Near-by park is great for kids.

The staff spoke English and were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is beautiful and the food delicious. Breakfast was a wide variety of foods, including eggs and sausage. The grounds are gorgeous and we want to go back in the spring to do some exploring. Very pleasant stay!

We had so much fun exploring the courtyard and hanging out by the water. The hotel staff were super chill and made us feel like royalty. And let me tell you, the comedy show we saw in Chemnitz was lit! It had us laughing so hard, our abs were sore the next day. Best. Vacation. Ever.

The only thing we wished for was more late-night activities for us party animals. It would've been awesome if there was a club or a cool hangout spot where we could dance and have a blast after the comedy show.

Very bad sound acoustic isolation. We've got the call from the reception about complaints from the neigbours room, although we just spoke with our friends at 22:00.

This was my second visit to this amazing hotel and once again, I was blown away by the experience. The location is superb, with easy access from the motorway. The staff at the 24-hour reception were incredibly friendly and helpful during check-in. The room was spacious and well-equipped, complete with a minibar stocked with refreshing German beer and wines. The fast Wi-fi allowed me to stay connected throughout my stay. The restaurant was a highlight, with excellent dishes and a knowledgeable staff that helped me make delicious wine pairings from their interesting wine list featuring wines from all the best German regions. The breakfast selection was impressive, including typical German treats. my stay was a delightful experience and I highly recommend spending an evening or more in this fantastic hotel.

As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the hotel's excellent location surrounded by charming shops and a romantic schloss. The silverwork, porcelain, and glassware were marvelous. The candlelit restaurant in the original cellar created a cozy atmosphere at night. The spacious, well-appointed rooms and delicious breakfast with plenty of choices were also highlights of our stay.

Felt like part of the family, no complaints at all.
