Millennium Biltmore Hotel Los Angeles - 洛杉矶

The location is terrible - it is located in a dangerous part of town and incredibly hard to find.

This is a great location, very close to everything.

The location is right on Pershing Square, and I used that proximity to try LA's new metro line to Hollywood.

Same goes for the bus and underground system, which is about 1 block away.

The location of the Biltmore is excellent, being just across the road from Pershing Square and its metro station.

The suite was the size of a small apartment, complete with a small entry hall, huge living room and dining room plus wet bar and refrigerator, and a separate spacious bedroom (with 2 double beds) and bathroom.

The surprise was that even though we booked on hotwire, we were upgraded to a suite with a lovely king bed, walk in closet, and separate sitting room with sofa and dining table.

The room had a big tv, a radio alarm clock, the bed was nice and there were several lamps that you had to light while walking all the way from the front door to the window in the dark.

The door to the bathroom was heavy and creaked, the TV was laughable (I think it was 19", and it was very old), and the bed itself was just OK.

Stay at the Red Roof Inn and you'll not only have a more comfortable bed and larger bathroom, but you'll have better internet and business services and a larger TV.

The back lobby near the restaurants is a quiet and elegant place to have coffee or a light breakfast from the coffee bar located there.

We ate in the sports bar and also a californian restaurant (smereldis i think its name was) and they were both really yummy.

We did not eat at the restaurants or go to the bar in the hotel.

Restaurants: Esmereldi's good food and good breakfast but pricey.

We had breakfast in the informal Californian restaurant.

The reception staff were fine and the concierge was very helpful.

The service was curt, there was no mention of congratulation, and when we asked if any kind of upgrades or services were available, the front desk person seemed appalled that we should even ask.

And, to access the fitness center and pool - you have to walk from the elevator through the main lobby and down a set of stairs.

We had the club level room which included two tickets to MOCA musuem, free valet parking, sauna/pool/fitness center access and entrance to the club level lounge for appetizers & continental breakfast.

The indoor pool is all in historical style, well-heated and boasts a jacuzzi, a dry sauna and a steam room, all historical.

95 wired Internet access - again, most of the popular hotel chains are offering free Internet (either wireless or wired) access.

The staff were friendly when we arrived and the room clean and tidy with coffee and tea facilities.

The rooms were all clean and nicely furnished.

Just awful stay, staff was attentive and friendly, the rooms were clean and large.

Our rooms were clean and charming, the lobby was all the glamour we expected at the original sight of the Academy Awards, and our breakfast there was outstanding.

The rooms were clean and serviced every day.
