The location was perfect for a city trip, hotel was extremely well situated in the heart of the Old Town of Erfurt and for a small extra cost I chose a Superior or 'Comfort' Room.
This hotel was in an excellent location, the facilities were good, and we took advantage of the free Internet availability in the lobby.
The location is just perfect - right in the old town center and this is an excellent hotel.
The city was great and the hotel was in a good location.
Its very good location in the Altstadt and the stuff are welcoming.
The room was modern with satelitte TV, bathroom with bath and a view to the back.
The bar had a good atmosphere during our stay, the bed was excellent.
Ask for a room facing the courtyard if heat or noise bother you.
Moreover the attached Zum Rebstock restaurant in a mediaeval building was excellent at dinner, well kept also spacious bathroom and the facilities were good.
Staff were friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable, breakfast was excellent.
We ate breakfasts and dinners at the hotel.
We did not use the hotel restaurant as there are plenty of alternatives within easy walking distance, eg the Feuerkugel on Michaelisstrasse which serves typical Thuringian food.
Computer terminal available to guests free - near reception, excellent restaurant.
Numerous restaurants are just a minute walk.
And dinner in the hotel's restaurant was okay, but not as good as most of the dinners we had during five weeks in Germany.
The computer in the lobby has free internet service and reception staff very helpful.
The reception desk staff, who spoke English, handled our incessant questions and requests with grace and professionalism.

But our room was in the furthest building from the lobby (there were five elevators because the hotel must consist of five different buildings), on the top floor.
Convenient central postion in city and lifts directly up to the main hotel.
