The location of this hotel was absolutely perfect for my trip to watch the European Rowing Championships. It was just a short walk or quick drive to the lake, and the surroundings were peaceful and quiet. The staff were incredibly helpful and spoke excellent English, making my stay even more enjoyable. The hotel itself was light and airy, creating a calm atmosphere. I particularly loved relaxing on the sun loungers on the lawn. The breakfast spread was impressive, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. Additionally, the hotel had ample parking spaces in its own garage, which was very convenient. my experience at this hotel was fantastic and I would highly recommend it.

eur 168 for one night, 35 km away from D'dorf, is expensive. In morning traffic it takes about an hour to reach D'dorf city centre.

This hotel is located in the middle of a freaking golf course - how cool is that!? You can wake up, step right onto the course, and hit some balls. Plus, it's surrounded by peaceful countryside, making it the perfect getaway for nature-loving golf fanatics like us.

The only thing we wished for was a lively nightlife scene. It would've been awesome to have a fun party atmosphere where we could dance and have a blast after a day of golfing and chilling.

I booked the hotel cause it is famous for its spa. As we arrived they told us that the spa didn't exist for the last 1.5 years anymore (although there was still a hint on the website). Since we attended a wedding in Krefeld, my sister and her fiancé stayed in the same hotel. They had a standard room whereas we had a superior. In fact, the rooms looked alike. The only bonus we had was a free mini bar and coffee machine, which was NOT worth the money (since we didn't know that before either). The bathroom looked like a 1* hotel bathroom (very small, no nice style whatsoever). I booked the hotel 2(!) month in advance and asked for a double (king size) bed and not 2 twin beds. Of course we got twin beds and they couldn't change rooms cause they were fully booked. Often, we struggled to find parking spaces outside. As we wanted to spend one evening in Duesseldorf, I asked the reception to call us a cab and for its prices to city center. The cab showed up without sat nav (so I had to give the driver the direction with my mobile) and it was about 25% more expensive. All in all I was really disappointed!

During my recent stay at the hotel, I arrived late due to travel delays. The reception staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodated my late arrival without any issues. They even made sure I had a delicious meal despite the restaurant being on the verge of closing. Their warm and friendly attitude made me feel right at home.

So disappointed that they didn't provide extra pillows for my golden throne. How am I supposed to rule over my kingdom with only one pillow?

Pros of my stay at the amazing hotel near the motorway were mind-blowing! The location was perfect with a green environment and easy access to the A57 motorway. The big parking place provided a hassle-free experience. The nice room exceeded my expectations, and the good breakfast was a delight every morning. I also enjoyed the excellent service from the helpful staff and the peaceful ambiance of the hotel.

We loved the hotel's peaceful location in the forests of NE Krefeld, which made for a pleasant stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the big parking place made it easy to park our car. We were also impressed with the hotel facilities, particularly the restaurant that was big enough for 50+ people and had a nice breakfast.

The Christmas stay was wonderful, with a warm and cozy atmosphere. The holiday decorations added to the charm of the surroundings and the Christmas carolers were a delightful surprise. The breakfast selection was varied and delicious, featuring pastries and freshly squeezed juice. The location was ideal for exploring nearby attractions and there was even a shuttle service available. the fitness center was well-equipped and offered a great way to stay active during the holidays.

The Wi-Fi connection was not reliable during our stay. This made it difficult to plan our itinerary or stay connected with our loved ones back home.
