Getting there

By car: coming from the north or the south, take the A5 in the direction of Basel or Frankfurt. At the Heidelberg interchange, take the Heidelberg exit and follow the A656 in the direction of Heidelberg-Bergheim. Continue along the Bergheim road. After approximately 1km the hotel will appear on the right-hand side. Coming from the west, take the A656 in the direction of Mannheim/Heidelberg until the Heidelberg/Bergheim exit. Continue along the Bergheim road. After approximately 1km the hotel will appear on the right-hand side.

By taxi: taxis to and from the main train station Heidelberg cost 8 €, to the international airport Frankfurt am Main (FRA) 107 € and to the airport Mannheim 27 €.

From the airport Mannheim: the OEG trains depart at regular intervals from Mannheim airport in the direction of Heidelberg Hauptbahnhof (main station). Journey time: around 30 minutes.

From Heidelberg Hauptbahnhof: take the number 32 bus in the direction of Marstallstr./Universitätsplatz to the stop “Römerstrasse” (2 stops, 3 minutes journey time). From there it takes just 2 minutes by foot to the hotel.

The location was excellent, convenient hotel for walking everywhere and the staff were very helpful, rooms were clean and decoration ok. Service was friendly, the air conditioning was nice to have as well and no toaster and the only hot food was boiled eggs. Breakfast was calm and good.

In a convenient location, the walks around the Neckar River and the castle are scenic and romantic, drink nearby rooms good. The hotel is modern and comfortable, reception is friendly, the breakfast is wonderful.
