Located near the city center, the three-star Lake Louise Inn featured such city attractions as Lake Louise Mountain Resort and Yoho National Park.

Renovated in 2006 the hotel is situated in three floors of five county-side buildings and has its own garden and terrace.

All 247 guestrooms come with a hair dryer and shower/tub combination as well as beautiful mountain views.

The hotel features an Italian restaurant Timberwolf Pizza & Pasta, American restaurant Legends and Explorer’s Lounge, which offers a full bar and menu.

Three meeting rooms and five other designated areas of the hotel are ideal for board meetings, seminars or conferences and can accommodate groups of up to 200 people.

The hotel offers an indoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi, a fitness center as well as fishing, skiing and water skiing facilities.

Explorers Lounge features pub-style dining in a casual setting, being open from Sunday to Wednesday from 5pm to 11pm and from Thursday to Saturday from 4pm to 11pm.

From the airport:

• Head northeast on Rundle Ave toward Spray Avenue, take the first left onto Spray Avenue, turn right onto Banff Avenue and take the first left onto Buffalo Street, take the first right onto Bear Street, continue onto Lynx Street, continue onto Mt Norquay Road, then turn left onto the AB-1/Trans Canada Highway ramp to Lake Louise, merge onto Trans-Canada Hwy/AB-1 W and take the AB-93/Icefields Parkway ramp, merge onto Icefields Parkway/AB-93 N, slight right to stay on Icefields Parkway/AB-93 N, turn right onto Trans-Canada Highway/Yellowhead Highway E, then turn left onto Forestry Trunk Road/AB-40 N/AB-734 N, turn left onto 100 Avenue/AB-43 W and, entering British Columbia, continue onto Dawson Creek-Tupper Highway/ Highway 2, turn right onto 8th Street/ Highway 2. At the roundabout take the third exit onto Alaska Avenue/ Highway 2 heading to BC-97/Fort Saint John/Prince George, continue to follow Alaska Avenue, turn right at John Hart Highway /BC-97 S, then right onto Alaska Highway /BC-97 N, continue to follow Alaska Highway, entering Yukon Territory, turn right onto Alaska Highway /YT-1, continue onto AK-2 E, turn left onto AK-1 S/Tok Cutoff and continue to follow AK-1 S, turn left onto AK-1 S/AK-4 S/Richardson Highway, turn right onto AK-1 S/State Highway 1 S.   Visitors center in the very small town, mountains etc. All beautiful and hotel located in an excellent position for exploring around. Staff were helpful and informative, room was clean, the food was tasty and well presented.

  Beautiful location and convenient to our hiking destination of Field for the Burgess Shale. Good setting close to village and only the beds could have more comfort.

  A decent bar area, good pub food and very child friendly, peaceful hotel. The staff were apologetic and the rooms were clean as was the bathroom.
