Value for money was very good, Maria was a wonderful hostess, the village was as we expected, very quiet and old. We were made very welcome and will certainly return in the future

Maria (owner/manager) is fabulous - a lovely lady, with pefect English and a real pride (and knowledge) of the Soria area. If you want peace and quiet and an out of the way place, as part of a Spanish experience that is not the norm then this is it. One night is ideal if it is on your general route. The local walk to the gorge was amazing - do not miss it. The town itself is so quiet is seems deserted, and the small population is sadly shrinking. We had dinner at La Casa, cooked by Anita - delicious and very inexpensive, with local wine. Breakfast was good. We would not have found this place without the Bookings comments. This was without doubt the best value for money we experienced throughout Spain.
No reflection on the accomodation but getting the hire car (a tiny BMW 1 series) through the town's narrow streets was a harrowing experience (if you enter from the North of the town). Parking at the hotel is no problem though.

We were warmly welcomed, given a choice of rooms and although quite late by UK standards (not Spainish) we were offered a fine supper before retiring for the night

Anita y Santos is a lovely family-run hotel in San Felices, a place in Soria region that provides breath-taking views of nicely terraced slopes of valleys. The main social activities of the village seem to be centered around Anita y Santos hotel. The family-run hotel is a very lovely place to stay, rooms are neat and well equipped. The restaurant of the hotel provides traditional meals and breakfast is supplemented with professional guidance through the Soria region in very good English by the hostess of the hotel - Maria. You will be equipped with very thoroughly, personally tailored and professionally selected routes of the nearby vicinity. Time permitting it is certainly worthwhile to visit these places.

Very nice owner could not do enough for us. The hotel is in a very quite village with great views. Good safe parking for the motorbike outside. Makes a good overnight stop.
The bedroom can be a bit noisey if you have loud fellow guests.

we booked this hotel on the basis of previous good revievs but I,m afraid we can only rate it as adequate. We arrived at 8.00pm. and the room was cold we had to ask for the heating to be put on ! next morning it was cold again and no heating. The breakfast was the worst we have ever had in our 44+ years of travelling in Europe.Orange Nectar ,not Juice,Tea undrinkable,we asked for toast, got a shake of the head and a sticky bun each,as an afterthought,5 digestive biscuitsbetween two.At 4.50 Euros each this was not good value! If you are arriving from the north avoid the road from Fitero. The last 15k. .is narrow, twisting, dangerous and hairraising, not for the faint hearted!

One word for our stay was excellent. I stayed overnight with six members of my family who ranged from 14 to 80 years of age, breaking our journey down south. The welcome we received from Marie and her brother was wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. Our rooms where beautifully furnished which we found to be exceptionally fresh and clean. We took our evening meal and breakfast at the hotel and where offered traditional home cooking made from local produce which we all thoroughly enjoyed, and was excellent value for money. The location of the village is quite remote but the views and the local countryside are wonderful. We have all decided we shall definitely return to this beautiful hotel again, but next time for a longer period.
The only negative was our stay was too short. We shall however, return for a longer stay.

We loved La Casa De Santos y Anita, Maria is most welcoming and very knowledgeable, she also speaks excellent English which is bonus in rural Spain (for us who speak no or limited Spanish). The food is home cooked, incredibly tasty and great value.........the whole stay was very pleasant and we will return, it's a great find when you consider all the bland boring identikit hotels there are in the world, I wish there were more places like this

We had a lovely stay at La Casa de Santos y Anita. The hotel is very tastefully decorated and the owners are very warm, welcoming people. Maria, who runs the hotel, speaks very good English and has a large amount of tourist information that she is very keen to share. We ate dinner at the hotel both nights we were there and had most pleasant meals of local dishes. The village of San Felices is very charming. We would recommend La Casa de Santos y Anita to any traveller wishing to experience the Spanish countryside and we would certainly return there again.
