This quiet little and delightful hotel occupies an amazing building in the traditional style. The venue has bright rooms and good staff at the unfriendly receptionist.

Wonderful relaxing traditional hotel with beautifully maintained rooms. Location - excellent and absolutely perfect, so close to roadworks which was accessed by using another one way street against the direction of flow, mature gardens and other restaurants.

Terrace, thoughtful tea making facilities and armchairs inside the twin room were handy. Really enjoyed a bath/shower in my fully equipped bathroom. It was in a central location, on the ocean.

Good standard and lovely peaceful hotel with outstanding view of the garden & oblique sea views. Particularly good location for our visit to Marina do Funchal not too far from the venue. Found in a very quiet area so close to the hotel's restaurant.

The hotel is on a marvellous location short walk to the port & the attractions of Funchal as well as sightseeing. The room is extremely spacious and bright and there are good views of the sea.

When we arrived, our wheelchair accessible room with fantastic views and balcony plus garden view was ready. Its location was central, 200 metres from Madeira Congress Center.

Didn't find swimming pool which we wanted.

The hotel was delightful and clean with particularly good views of the ocean. This accommodation had a central setting in beautiful sub tropical gardens overlooking the sea. And it was also near off for 23 years and all shop and the port & the attractions of Funchal. I thoroughly enjoyed the room, the bed was lovely. The breakfast was gorgeous and really tasty, had lots of food.
