The hotel is conveniently located in the historic center, just a short walk from the main square. It is also in front of a beautiful museum of an hacienda, offering a glimpse into the rich history of the area.

The noise level can be a bit bothersome at times.

The hotel was quite easy to find. Big signs on several places showing the direction. Breakfast buffé was good. The overall first impression is good. With a little more work, this hotel could be excellent but it has some important issues that degrades the stay.

First room was on the bottom with a terrace door that didn't lock. The lock was a wooden pole. Big question marks in the staffs face when I explained I didn't like that security. Also quite big roaches appeared in the room, prob. because the terrace door was open all evening without us opening it. Good security? Without any bigger discussions but with quite uncomprehending faces we got a new room on the second floor this time with a balcony door that didn't even have a lock ? 3rd room was only with a window wich was possible to lock :) No safety box in the rooms.

The staff was great. They were very helpful. There was always someone there that could speak English.

The room was very sparsely decorated and did not really have a nice feel to it when we walked in. The electrical wiring was dangerously connected. One of the wall sconces was not working so I had a look to see if the bulb was burned out but it was the exposed wires that were not connecting properly.

We had a fantastic stay at Mision! The Spanish hacienda style of the hotel gave it a unique and charming atmosphere. The breakfast buffet was absolutely amazing, with the best selection I have ever seen. We were pleasantly surprised by the friendly and helpful staff, who went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. One downside was the small and cold pool, but it was still a nice addition to the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel for a great experience in Guanajuato.

We had a great experience staying at this hotel. The location, being in the hills at the edge of town, was perfect for us. We loved that it was away from the busy city center and had beautiful views. The fact that there was a museum right across from the hotel was a nice bonus.

The breakfast buffet was good and had a decent variety of options. The pool area was clean and inviting. The hotel's location was convenient as it was near the main attractions of the city.

Additionally, the staff was unhelpful and unfriendly, never seeming to go out of their way to assist us during our stay.
