A beautiful building, very sympathetically yet stylishly restored.Nice pool, and very good standard restaurant and food with stunning views. Very pleasant restaurant staff. Excellent air con in room, and good bathroom.
We were surprised not to find a fridge in our room - expected of all 4 star hotels.Small screen TV was poor, no BBC or Sky channels (BBC News 24 available throughout European mainland is a far better service than CNN).Hotel seemed understaffed during pm period (only 1 person on duty to look after everything when we stayed). Your website and booking confirmation really needs to make it much clearer that you do not recommend trying to find the hotel by car. We saw the hotel sign on the main road through village, and drove up Carrere de Toros, which is a very steep and narrow stone paved street. It is hard to spot the entrance to the hotel on the left, as it is set back into a wall and there is no overhanging sign above the street. After a drive from Palma, this hassle is not something anyone needs. I would also recommend that your website makes it clear that the hotel is not suitable for non able-bodied guests.

The village location and lovely garden were definitely the best aspects of our stay. Being surrounded by the beautiful mountains and having a peaceful ambiance added to the relaxing atmosphere. the pool was a great feature, perfect for taking a dip and enjoying the stunning views.
The lack of catering facilities was a major letdown. The breakfast provided was rather dull, with unexciting bread and average quality cheese.

Its in a beautiful place, a gorgeous building with beautifully designed facilities. Small and quiet with fabulous views and lovely pool. The staff very helpful. The village is served by a few decent restaurants, banks, taxis, shops etc.
The safe in our room wasnt screwed to anything. The Bath taps were leaking badly and had to use the shower to fill the bath otherwise the bathroom floor would have flooded. Loo seat loose. A lot of attention to the small details has gone, but then we went when it had just opened, 12 years ago. Not enough towells at the pool, the sunloungers are getting a little shabby. Staff often elusive, there is no reception as one usually expects. Too much chipped crockery and ashtrays. A few Euros needs to be spent on a little updating or it will loose its charm which would be a pity as it is a lovely place and I love it.

The hotel's setting halfway up the mountains is truly beautiful. The room, a garden room, was spacious and comfortable with high-quality fixtures and fittings. The pool area was quiet and relaxing. The staff were friendly and well-trained, providing excellent service. The hotel's location in a charming village with restaurants, cafes, and shops was a selling point. The gardens were stunning, with a unique garden terrace offering breathtaking views of the valley and mountains. Highly recommended!
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel was very comfortable, stylish, had beautiful views. There was only one young lady on duty when we arrived, but she could not have been more helpful. A lovely place to spend a few days - especially if you enjoy walking in the beautiful mountains in Mallorca.
If, like me, you have some difficulty with steps, this may not be the place to stay! Parking was the first problem, had to leave the car in the car park at bottom of hill, then in the hotel steps everywhere, even from our bedroom down to the bathroom (8 steps!), plus quite a climb to the restaurant. However, it was worth the climb - watching the full moon rise from behind the mountains was superb.

The hotel is very beatiful only 11 rooms are available. Design is very stylish, the room is very clear, very beatiful design in bathroom. This hotel is situated in old house, has restaurant on the top of the house and open pool on the second floor. In Restaurant you can eat very tasty food.
The only one negative is location. Fornatutx is really very very small village. At 21-30 everything was closed. No people in the streets. We could not find any place to eat, only in our hotel. May be it was because of May. But this hotel is sutable only for short stop during your trip through the islande. And the price is a bit too high.

I had an amazing stay at this luxurious hotel nestled high in the mountain. The location in the steep hills provided breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and the charming village below. The hotel's tranquil atmosphere made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The room was spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay including heating and air conditioning. I especially loved the private terrace where I could enjoy my morning coffee while taking in the beautiful scenery.
Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a luxurious and peaceful getaway.

The setting was perfect in a very attractive old village. It was in a beautiful location, quiet but enough going on to make it interesting. Good variety of local restaurants. Palma and Port Soller very much worth a visit via the fun old tram and train. Lovely walks. Beautiful scenery. Fornalutx is a genuine living community with olive groves and orange and lemon trees a small river and backdrop of mountains. The manageress of our hotel could not have been more charming or genuinely helpful and was the cherry on the top of a superb holiday.
Breakfast was good, but became a bit boring after the seventh day of repeats.

Everything was modern, attentive staff, tranquil location close to the beautiful Mallorcan mountains, Soller and the nearby Port, and the best reclusive beaches. Booked double room, that included a safe, central heating, and television. The view of street was panoramic.
