I chose the Mar Azul & Surf hotel because I really wanted to visit Playa de La Concha. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of facilities and services offered by the hotel. In particular, I enjoyed ending the day with a drink at the bar/lounge.

The hotel's decoration was absolutely charming and had a lovely vintage touch. The general areas were beautifully maintained, providing a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. the hotel's accessibility for senior people was excellent, making it easy for us to move around without any issues.

I would have asked for more assistance from the children working there to ensure a truly enjoyable vacation for senior people.

Located close to a lovely beach, this hotel enjoys a convenient location for those arriving on the Santander ferry. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the hotel offers clean and comfortable rooms at a good price. Guests can also take advantage of the complimentary parking, and some rooms offer nice views of the surrounding area.

On one occasion outside guests were allowed in the bar and were quite noisy, which could disturb guests in nearby rooms.

The hotel had a great location, close to the beach and other interesting sites to visit. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. One of the perks of the hotel was that they had a great view from the balcony of the room.

The hotel was not well maintained. The rooms were not cleaned properly with damp smelling sheets on the beds. The noise levels from outside guests at the bar were unbearable at times, we couldn't properly enjoy our stay as we were constantly disturbed. Breakfast quality was poor, with the fruit offered being old and no attempt was made to replenish them. We feel like this hotel is not worth it and we wouldn't recommend it to others as we left disappointed.

Spent Christmas at this hotel and it was fantastic! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always eager to ensure we had a great stay. The hotel had a great location, just a short walk from the beach and a number of local restaurants and shops. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed for our stay. We particularly loved the amazing view from our room, it was breathtaking! The food at the hotel was delicious, with a great selection of traditional holiday dishes and seasonal treats.

That the hotel was a bit difficult to find at first, as the sign wasn't very visible from the road. we found that some of the food options were a bit limited, but that could be because we visited during the holidays.

During our stay at Hotel Mar Azul & Surf, our room did not have air conditioning. However, the hotel kindly arranged for a fan to be brought to our room, which made our stay much more comfortable. , the location of the hotel in Suances was ideal for exploring the area. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast provided each morning, with plenty of options to choose from.

So many religious art examples in the region, I felt like I was in a museum. The hotel's large lounge was perfect for my extravagant parties. The surrounding villages were charming, but not as glamorous as this hotel.

wow, suances couldn't have been better for my bday getaway. mar azul & surf was a gem! perfect location for beach, walks, and exploring nearby cities. breakfast and dinner were delicious - loved the soy milk option. exceeded my expectations!
