Hilton Amsterdam Hotel - 阿姆斯特丹

Central location to museums, the area is located the hotel is very nice and quiet, made us feel at home.

The location is more in the middle of a neighborhood where people actually live, which makes it quieter and more filled with trees and greenery.

Overall we loved the neighborhood, the location and the overall cleanliness of this Hilton.

Thanks to the ease and convenience of the tram, we only used taxis to get to and from the airport.

The metro station sells as well the 72 hours tram - metro - bus card which is most useful.

The rooms were very large, large windows in the room, a nice size bathroom and bathtub.

Very large with comfortable king bed, separate sitting area, and two walls of floor to ceiling glass windows, a whole wall of built in closets and shelving, a large modern and comfortable bathroom, plus a walk out balcony.

The decor was modern, the bed comfortable and the bathroom spotless and well stocked with towels and toiletries.

The room was very clean, spacious (especially for European rooms) and stocked with extra amenities like bathrobes, slippers, bath salts, bottled water etc.

We had booked an executive room with an additional roll-away bed through the Hilton telephone booking service in the UK, using Tesco Deals vouchers.

Breakfast was also offered in the lounge but because our room rate included the full buffet breakfast in the hotel’s excellent restaurant, we chose to eat there.

The hotel bar/lounge/restaurant is okay, nice ambience but food is okay and extremely expensive.

Breakfast at the restaurant was very variegated.

In the hotel room there are available some nice magazines which gives the names of a few nice restaurants (since Dutch cuisine is not something to mention).

When I placed the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door, I was not bothered at all by room service or staff.

The staff are friendly, the service superb and the rooms comfortable (wonderful linen) and spotlessly clean.

There was a large convention at the hotel when we were there so the terrace as packed in the evening and the lobby and elevators were a madhouse the next day as everyone tried to check out.

The only thing missing at the hotel is an indoor pool/spa and the room plasma tvs are a bit small but we survived!

The central feature of the lobby is the inviting panoramic window wall opposite the front entrance that invites you for a cocktail on the canal-side terrace, overlooking the Hilton Marina (exhorbitant prices notwithstanding).

Wireless internet in the hotel is fine for email, etc.

The hotel has wireless Internet, but it cost something like 25 euros for 24 hours.

Otherwise the room was very clean very quiet and quite cosy.

The room however was very clean if a little plain , just a very standard hotel room , no wow factors.

The room was really nice and modern and clean.

Bathroom was spotless with all the usual amenities.

The room was very clean, the linens were quite comfortable.
