The hotel is in a fantastic location, right near the Dongdaemun subway station, making it really easy to explore all of Seoul. There are so many great shopping places nearby, including malls and fashion hubs, perfect for a family with two small kids. The rooms are clean and spacious, and even include a kitchenette and a washing machine, which is really convenient. The staff are friendly and helpful, and there are even computers in the lobby for guests to use.

The hotel could improve by offering free wifi in the rooms, as it is only available in the lobby.

The hotel exceeded expectations, great value, washer/dryer in room, full size fridge, excellent service, comfortable room.

location is great, not far from a metro station. there was no wifi signal in the rooms. we walked everywhere in seoul and to restaurants and cafés nearby. high-speed internet access was a bonus.

The staff at eastgate tower were FRIENDLY. The buffet breakfast was to die for. The hotel was just 1 mile from myeongdong cathedral. Quick room service.

Huge Room & Convenient Location

During my recent business trip, I stayed at a hotel that offered a huge room with a small kitchenette, a conduction stove, and a washer. The aircon was individually controlled, and the staff provided excellent service. It was located within walking distance to cosmetic shops, restaurants, and convenience stores that were open 24/7. it was just a 5-minute walk to some of the best shopping areas and near several subway lines, making it easy to travel around the city.

The negative aspects of my stay were the unpleasant odor in the room and the lack of space in the bathroom. Although the room was big, the bathroom was very small and did not have enough space to hang towels or place clothes.

When you arrive by subway it is difficult to found the entry of the hotel

The staff were very friendly and the location close to the Markets and specialty stores.

The Airport Bus stop is quite far from the hotel. I have to take my big luggage crossing the street and walk through a small road to get to the hotel.

Picture of hotel on website was misleading. I was expecting a normal hotel so was very surprised to see a stove and a washing machine in the room. Even further confused when there were no pots, pans, glasses, etc so have no idea what they were supposed to be used for. It wasn't a very romantic room when traveling as a couple.

our luggage keeped in the hotel after check out, and all wet when we pick up........how come they keep customer's luggage like that?? (check out date is 27 DEC 2010)
