Wonderful hotel in an excellent location, very friendly helpful staff and very comfortable for working in the room.

The location is great, right near the mouth of the main shopping strip.
The Europa Hotel was a beautiful, wonderful hotel in an excellent location.
Location of the hotel is not that great, depending on what your business in Heidelberg is - the hotel originally was built next to the old train station (and thus just outside of the Old City), but the station was moved further out some decades ago.
On one side of the room, the two twin beds pulled down from the wall (which the kids loved) and on the other side of the room was a nice king-sized bed.
My room was enormous, great bed and bathroom.
Great bed, staff was nice - the breakfast buffet looked good.
The rooms are clean - certainly the cleanest bathrooms I have ever seen in a hotel.
The toilet is separate from the bathroom.
But don't eat too many or you won't have room to dine at the in-house restaurant or partake in the generous breakfast buffet.
This hotel is right next to the old town and a short walk from a number of shops, restaurants and attractions.
