loved my recent stay in lezama, biscay at matsa b&b. charming rural setting with easy access to bilbao. the owners went above and beyond, even driving me to the train station. authentic 400-year-old building with modern amenities. highly recommend for a peaceful getaway.

Directions through the trading estate were confusing.

Better directions to the hotel. We had difficulty finding the hotel because we were looking for Hotel Rural and also it didn't show up on the gps. Longitude and Latitude coordinates would be helpful

Great home-cooked food, very friendly hotel.

The cozy lounge with a fireplace and the breathtaking views made me feel like a character in a romantic novel. Exploring the area was a breeze with easy access to the motorway and nearby activities. And the free Wi-Fi was a pleasant surprise.

Who needs constant entertainment and fancy amenities when you have the joy of sharing a playground and terrace with other guests?

The hotel is an incredibly beautiful place with beautiful rooms. The staff are amiable, answered every question I had. The location is beautiful, 1 mile from Barrio Aretxalde. I would go back in flash, enjoyed my fantastic stay.

Clean rooms - safe environment, and a large green area. The hotel is conveniently located near the Camino and not far from Bilbao. The owners are helpful and offer great local insights. One standout service is their availability to sell water and cold beer on-site.

Great place to stay before arriving in Bilbao. Quiet and comfortable with friendly owners. Close to a tube station for easy access to the city center. Lovely rural setting to wake up to.

The twin room had central heating and multi-channel television, facilities worked for us. It was comfy, we spent 1 night.

We had a wonderful stay at Matsa B&B. The location of the hotel amidst fields and trees provided a quiet and serene atmosphere. The rooms were lovely, and the owners were incredibly helpful and accommodating. They even incorporated gluten-free foods that we brought with us into our breakfast. The hotel's 400-year-old building, renovated to modern standards while maintaining its authenticity, added to the charm. With a train station just a 5-minute walk away, it was easy to reach the center of Bilbao. We would definitely return and recommend Matsa B&B to others.

Nice family onwed hotel. Good comfort

The hosts were incredibly nice and the check-in and check-out process was seamless. The hotel's location was conveniently close to Bilbao and had stunning mountain views. The facilities were spotless and comfortable, with spacious rooms. The dinner and breakfast were delicious and offered a taste of typical Spanish cuisine. The staff had great local knowledge and were always willing to help. The hotel also had a beautiful green area and was located right on the Camino del Norte. an amazing stay!

I stayed at Hotel Matsa B&B for 5 nights while exploring Bilbao. The beds were comfortable and the towels were always clean. The shower water was consistently hot, which was a great way to relax after a long day of sightseeing. I loved the beautiful garden at the back of the hotel. The staff, especially the receptionist, were incredibly pleasant and helpful. Although there was no restaurant on-site, we were able to order food from a local takeaway and enjoy it in the hotel's lovely outdoor area. The breakfast, which we paid extra for, was good value and satisfying. The hotel's location offered easy access to the motorway and it was only a 15-minute drive to Bilbao center. I had a wonderful stay and would recommend this hotel to everyone.
