Casa d'Avo Beatriz was exactly what we were looking for at the end of our stay in Madeira! It's a quiet and quaint place, situated up the mountain with a beautiful view over the ocean. Antonio, the owner, was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and complete, and there is a supermarket nearby. We loved our cozy and rustic getaway here! Would recommend this hotel.

Stayed at a nice place on a hill with breathtaking views and a pool, surrounded by great eateries. Oh, and free Wi-Fi!

Breakfast was a joke, no variety and no veggies. Can't even decide my own breakfast time, how fun!

This hotel in Gaula, up the mountain, is super quiet and provides great value for money. The rooms are very spacious and worked well for us. We were pleasantly surprised by the basic amenities and the fact that we had a kitchen where we could cook our own meals. The breakfast included in the stay was a nice touch and started our day off on a good note.

The hotel has a great location, up in the mountain and away from the noise of the city, with a beautiful view of the ocean. Another advantage is the presence of a well-maintained garden and swimming pool, perfect for a relaxing stay. The rooms were comfortable and clean.

Our experience on New Year's Eve was ruined by some unpleasant surprises. The staff was not properly prepared for the busy night, the dinner was not up to the expected standard, and there weren't enough tables for all the guests.

Our family loved our stay in a peaceful and beautiful accommodation that is nestled in the mountains on Madeira, not far from the airport. We enjoyed breathtaking views of the ocean from the garden and pool area, while the comfortable rooms provided everything we needed. The friendly owner offered excellent advice on local restaurants and services. The rural location provided a perfect escape from the busier resorts and allowed us to enjoy our holiday in peaceful, natural surroundings.

The Wi-Fi connection was limited to the common areas of the accommodation.

The location was also fantastic, just a short drive to both the airport and the city, making it easy to explore the area.

The absence of a fridge in our room was a bit of a shame, as it would have been nice to keep drinks and snacks chilled. However, with the bakery and several restaurants just a short walk away, we were able to easily find refreshments when needed.

I had a wonderful stay at Casa D'Avo Beatriz in Gaula. The location was exactly what I was looking for - quiet and quaint, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The surroundings were beautiful, and I enjoyed exploring the nearby restaurants and little shop. The host, António, was incredibly friendly and helpful, always available to assist with any requests. The peace and tranquility of the place made it a perfect getaway.

One small inconvenience was the limited WiFi access in the rooms, but it was not a major issue for me. Also, the cleanliness of the pool and outdoor furniture could have been better.
