It's not in a great location for a holiday - (more geared towards the business traveller) - not close to the subway or many restaurants.

The area, Polanco, is a great location, a wealthy area of Mexico City.

Good location near the park, nice stay and the building - 's a classic.

Tourist taxis are available outside the hotel if desired at an average $18 ride to the centro historico or zocalo and $23 to the airport.

We took advantage of their internet specials and had wonderfully large rooms with kingsize beds, large beautiful bathroom overlooking a small courtyard, in room safe.

The room is spacious, well appointed, with a comfortable king bed and turn down service.

Service is excellent, rooms and bathrooms are roomy and nicely decorated, just keep in mind decor is all minimalist and modern, if you like a warm and cozy enviroment this is not the place.

Aside from the bedding which was much nicer than in my room, the suite was even worse than the regular room I had.

We had beers in the wonderful bar off the lobby, but ate all of our meals at the neighborhood restaurants.

Food: the great thing about this hotel is that it has several restaurants, so there’s a huge variety of options, and the room service menu includes a little from each restaurant.

We found that the Mercedes restaurant across the street had a good breakfast for half the price of the hotel cafe, if you are looking to reduce costs.

The La Huerta restaurant has amazing breakfasts.

During our recent visit they closed the excellent coffee shop (La Huera) for a one-week refurbishment, so we only ate there once; we ate a number of times at Bice (the Italian restaurant) and loved it.

Front desk, concierge, laundry, room service, all are top notch.

I have a rambunctious toddler who ran around terrorizing the hotel staff all week, and we received nothing but attentive friendly service from everyone.
