Location of hotel was close to the beach. We found Grillsmith Countryside to dine in 700 feet from the venue...

One of the most inexpensive hotels in the area that could accomodate our large family.

1. Asked for a 1st floor room - ended up with a 5th floor room. 2. No closets - only a wardrobe - made for a VERY crowded room 3.No ice facilities on our floor - even though it was advertised - had to go to 1st floor from 5th floor for ice. 4. Many walls were dirty. No safety caps in outlets in hallways - some outlets were not in wall properly.

The free breakfasts were very good as was the staff.

Room smelled musty and smokey even though it was nonsmoking.

Came home to Clearwater for a family funeral, a place where I was born and raised. Great value, clean, friendly staff, great free breakfast-no strong complaints, except for variety of sodas in the machines.,

Room was nice. Exercise room was good. Easy access to internet.

Safe didn't work. Chambermaid didn't replenish kleenex. Fox news was on TV in lobby.

We were not impressed at all with this hotel. The person on the desk was very unprofessional looking, and not friendly at all. We asked about the adjoining Japanese restaurant, and she gave it a poor review, telling us of other places to try. We went to the the adjoining restaurant the next night and it was fabulous. The room was old and needs serious updates. The toilet seat was yellowed from age and looked horrible. The towels were small and cheap and the room was not worth the price. We would have changed hotels if we could have gotten a refund. We would not stay there again.we would give it a 5 rating. Very disappointing!

The location was convenient being right on highway 19. Restaurants and shopping were right across the highway.

Everything was better than expected, the price very competitive and I would recommend this hotel.

Rooms were quiet and clean. Good variety at breakfast.

rooms need some updating with more counter space in the bathroom. Laundry room was terrible--vented right into the room with lint everywhere, no counter space, looked like it hadn't been touched in a long time.
