I recently stayed at Albergo Verdi for a week and it was perfect for exploring all the amazing sights in Central Palermo. The hotel's excellent location allowed me to easily visit Teatro Massimo, Palatine Chapel, the harbour, and St Catherine’s monastery, all within a short 15-20 minute walk. The staff at Albergo Verdi were exceptionally friendly and the hotel was always clean and comfortable. The new windows blocked out any noise from the busy street below, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep. The breakfast provided a good variety of options each day, ensuring a great start to my mornings. I would definitely book this hotel again.

The hotel is on one of the main streets on the first floor in the area full of bars. Windows dont close completely so the noise from the street can be unbearable.

We can use free internet in a room. Bathroom is small but it is clean.

Staff can not speak English so it may be difficult to get enough information. The hotel is located on the busy street so it is very noisy during the night. We could not sleep very well until early morning.

The hotel is situated very good in front of Teatro Massimo and in one of the main shopping streets of Palermo.The staff is very flexible and show a great level of service.

Because of the traffic it is very noisy, but can you blame a centrally located hotel for this? There is no escalator which could be hard with certain heavy luggage.

We had a wonderful stay at a small, family-run hotel that had a fantastic location. The staff were friendly and always available. The hotel was clean and had a charming Liberty-style decor. We were also pleasantly surprised by the supervised parking nearby. All the interesting attractions were within walking distance, including the famous Teatro Massimo. We highly recommend Albergo Verdi for a central and friendly experience in Palermo.

Perfect location opposite Teatro Massimo and approx 500m from Politeama (teatro). Extremely clean and tidy. Renovated bathroom. I had small balcony overlooking Via Marqueda and the Teatro Massimo. Just awesome value for the EUR45 a night, room only single (last minute bkg). Right in the midde of a busy shopping district and Via Spinuzza has some great bars including Drinkeria on Cavour. Via Bara is a small alleyway with some great little lunch spots that are very reasonable. The Hop On Hop Off Tourist bus stop is just 20m from hotel at Teatro Massimo. The bus was an excellent way to see the city for EUR20/24 hrs. I was more than satisfied with this hotel.

Via Marqueda is a busy busy street 24/7. There is heavy noise from the traffic all nigt even with doors shut and air con on. Be warned. They have rooms that do not face the street but the small windows look out on a brick wall 12 inches away. I took the street facing room as I can sleep thru the noise.

I loved my recent stay at Albergo Verdi in Palermo. The location couldn't have been better - right in the heart of the city, just a minute away from Teatro Massimo. Everything I wanted to see and do was within walking distance, from the cathedral of Palermo to the Quattro Canti and Politeama Teatre. The hotel is also surrounded by fashion stores and souvenir shops, making it perfect for solo travelers like me. The rooms were incredibly clean and the owners, although they didn't speak English, were incredibly nice and accommodating.

This place was cheap, central, clean. The only thing is that it is noisy. So perfect apart from if you dont want to get woken up early in the morning. Take some ear-plugs and you will be fine! You can ask to use their internet which they will happily allow you to do. The location is good for sightseeing and is right opposite to a convenient bus stop which takes you to the plaza for excursions to monreale etc. The hotel is also right next to the bar area and some buzzing restaurants so convenient for going out at nice. Good place for young people on a budget.

The noise is quite loud. We were slightly on the side lane but still could hear the traffic. My friend also said there was some noise from reception in the mornings. However, just buy a pair of ear plugs in the pharmacy on the same road and it should be fine

We had a fantastic stay at Albergo Verdi. The location was perfect, right in front of Massimo Theatre with lots of great restaurants and cafes nearby. The staff were exceptional, going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The room was spotlessly clean and the WiFi worked flawlessly. The owner was incredibly friendly, making us feel like family and giving us great sightseeing recommendations. The breakfast was delicious, with freshly made espresso. We loved the authentic Italian feel of the hotel, even though communication was a bit challenging for non-Italian speakers.

The hotel is in a great location, and very secure. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Despite my not speaking Italian, and their broken English, I was able to receive help with transport, airport connection, food recommendations etc. I was even offered an umbrella when it was rainy! The rooms were immaculately cleaned, with all modern comforts.
