The hotel is nestled in a picturesque area, next to the charming church, offering stunning views of the mountains. The owner is very knowledgeable about the local area, providing accurate information for guests. The hotel is also conveniently located near the coast, allowing easy access to the splendid beaches. The rooms are simple but comfortable, with a private bathroom and hot water. The breakfast offers basic options, but the coffee is exceptional.
Some guests mentioned that the decor and public areas could use some refreshing.

Absolutely stunning location with friendly helpful staff.
Didn't quite live up to description and photos, eg broken tiles on stairs and garden somewhat untended..

Stunning location with breathtaking mountain scenery. Proprietor was extremely helpful and spoke very good English. Had Dinner both evenings we stayed which offered a good choice with good quality meals at a very reasonable price. The bedroom was very spacious with a terrace facing the mountains lovely to relax with a drink in the evening.

Lovely welcome. Position good overlooking the valley. Very quiet which suited us. Good walks nearby. Staff very helpful with visits and how to reach next place.
A proper bar. Limited pre dinner drinks but wine good.

The hotel's location was ideal, as we were able to easily access activities available locally. Just love this hotel. It is our second stay and we will definitely book again. The location is beautiful and the hotel is a little corner of paradise. The owners cannot do enough for you and the maid is an absolute delight! Our favourite place to stay

The meals offered in the restaurant were delicious and reasonably priced, with a good variety of choices each day. The 3-course menu for 14 euros 50 was a steal, and the freshly cooked food was served by the hardworking owners. the location of the hotel was perfect for exploring both Santander and Bilbao, as well as the stunning inland scenery of the Picos de Europa.
There were some maintenance issues in the room we stayed in, such as dust on the TV cabinet and dirty windows with fly poop. The bed was also not the most comfortable, especially for those used to a larger one.

We loved the location, the building, the owners and the ambiance. The proprietor cooked us a wonderful meal and the wine was excellent. The view of the National Park was stunning and We wished we could have stopped longer to go hiking,
No aircon or fans in the bedrooms but it cooled down enough for us to sleep well.
