We loved the value for our money at this amazing centuries-old palace turned hotel. The rooms were grand and luxurious, making us feel like royalty. The staff were friendly, helpful, and efficient, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The only thing that could make the breakfast menu better is if there were more gluten-free options available.

is actually a charming historical palace with a baroque façade located in a beautiful valley near Santander. It has an incredible staircase of interlaced sections located in the center of the building, almost unique and very evocative. It preserves its old structure, original wooden beams and period floors... everything authentic. spacious and luminous room, with a classic decoration, with a few touches of colour that are a little bit strident on each floor... bed with a little bit of a canopy and some old-fashioned bedding... a pleasant room with a large bathroom. varied breakfast buffet, possibility to have lunch or dinner in a restaurant with a nice waitress. friendly and helpful staff. Park with swimming pool, green areas and beautiful views... free parking in front of the hotel. place, an incredible building, with amazing architecture, small hotel in the countryside that could be a charming boutique hotel, if it were not for the fact that the added decorative elements and reproductions are somewhat outdated, excessive colour in the murals that flood the entire interior, detract from the total enjoyment of a fantastic architecture. place that, ignoring the details that personally do not please me, is a perfect destination to enjoy art and tranquility... no doubt, its facade and interior stairs are worth a visit.

The centuries old palace, beautifully restored, offers sumptuous and spacious rooms that exude grandeur. The hotel provided a delicious continental breakfast as part of our very reasonable rate. The 3-course dinner menu, including a bottle of wine, was an absolute steal at only €20/person, and the food was excellent. The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and efficient. We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy all the luxuries this place has to offer!

Stay here and you'll feel like you have a whole palace to yourself. Highly recommended to all!

We had the best discovery on our holiday at Abba! This magnificent centuries old palace has been beautifully restored. The sumptuous and spacious rooms make you feel like royalty. The continental breakfast included in the rate was a great start to the day. For dinner, we enjoyed the delicious 3-course menu with a bottle of wine, and all at an unbelievable price of only €20/person. The helpful and friendly staff made our stay even more enjoyable. We wish we could have stayed longer!

The building is exceptional. The room was furnished and decorated beautifully. The room was exceptional value. The dinner and wines by the glass were good value in a hotel of this class.

The bar didn't open until the dining room opened which in this part of Spain is quite late. There was a souless cafeteria across the road that could be used.

Great countryside location in a charming area with lots of lovely walks in the vicinity. The building was impressive and the staff were helpful and hospitable. We appreciated free parking and a small but refreshing pool. The prices were quite reasonable.

The décor was a bit too loud and quirky for our taste and we found the restaurant overpriced and disappointing. It wasn't a deal-breaker though, because there were plenty of other dining options in the area.

Above all, the country setting location, only 35 mins drive from Santander, provided a peaceful environment with delightful and serene surroundings.

The dinner menu could be more creative. The meals seemed pre-fabricated, probably reheated before serving.

The magnificent surroundings and peaceful atmosphere created an idyllic getaway to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

It’s a shame that the dining experience didn't match the overall excellence of the hotel, as some guests noted pre-prepared and microwaved dishes.

Parking was easily accessible, and transportation to nearby attractions was readily available. Furthermore, the breakfast spread was amazing, with a variety of options including gluten-free choices.

This 17th century converted house is a fantastic hotel with a beautiful baroque building and spacious rooms. The restaurant serves wonderful food at a good price, and the breakfast is amazing with plenty of gluten-free options. The surrounding landscape is breathtaking, reminding me of the Pays Basque near Saint Jean Pied de Port.

Felt like visiting family, no reason to complain.
