Milan Puskar Stadium is a football stadium located on the campus of West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia. It was opened in 1980 and has since become the home of the West Virginia Mountaineers football team. The stadium has a seating capacity of over 60,000 and has hosted a variety of notable events, including the 1985 NCAA Division I-AA Football Championship Game and several Big 12 Conference Championship games. One interesting fact about the stadium is that it was named after Milan Puskar, a WVU alum and successful businessman who donated $20 million towards its renovation in 2004.
