McGuire Air Force Base is a United States military installation located in Wrightstown, New Jersey. Established in 1941, the base is named after Major Thomas B. McGuire Jr., a Medal of Honor recipient who served in World War II. Today, the base is home to the 87th Air Base Wing and the 305th Air Mobility Wing, which provide air mobility support for military operations around the world.
