Loon Mountain
Loon Mountain is a popular ski resort located in Lincoln, New Hampshire, and is named after the loons that inhabit the nearby rivers and lakes. The mountain has a summit elevation of 3,050 feet and features over 60 trails for skiers and snowboarders of all levels. In the summer months, Loon Mountain offers a variety of activities such as hiking, mountain biking, and ziplining. The resort also has a variety of dining and lodging options for visitors to enjoy. Interestingly, Loon Mountain was one of the first ski resorts in the country to offer snowboarding, back in the 1980s.
