Anna Ruby Falls in Helen

Anna Ruby Falls is a stunning two-tiered waterfall in the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest near Helen, Georgia. The waterfall is formed by two streams that join together at the base of the falls, which drops a total of 153 feet. The trek to the waterfall is easy, with a paved path leading directly to the falls. Along the way, visitors can enjoy scenic views of the surrounding forest and wildlife, including deer, squirrels, and birds. For history buffs, Anna Ruby Falls named in honor of Anna Ruby Nichols, the daughter of a wealthy businessman who donated the land to the Forest Service in the 1930s.
