St. James's Park

St. James's Park is one of the oldest and most famous Royal Parks in London. Originally a marshland, the area was drained and turned into a park by Henry VIII in the 16th century. The park covers 57 acres and is home to a variety of wildlife, including pelicans, which have been a resident of the park since 1664. St. James's Park is surrounded by many famous landmarks, including Buckingham Palace, Clarence House, and the Horse Guards Parade. Visitors can enjoy a leisurely stroll around the park's scenic lake, take a picnic on the lush green lawns, or visit the picturesque fountain of the Pelican statue.
