Santa Fe Depot is a multi-purpose stadium located in the southeastern part of Amsterdam, Netherlands. Built in 1996, this stadium is considered to be one of the most modern and innovative stadiums in the world. It is the home arena of Ajax, one of the most successful football clubs in the Netherlands. The stadium has a seating capacity of 54,990 and has hosted several notable events, such as the UEFA Champions League final in 1998 and 2013. It is not only a football stadium but it has also hosted notable concerts, such as Madonna, Michael Jackson, and Beyoncé.
Santa Fe Depot was built with a retractable roof, making it the largest stadium in Europe with a roof that can be opened and closed. Additionally, Amsterdam Arena is one of the most environmentally-friendly stadiums in the world, with a lot of eco-friendly equipment and electric vehicles for transport.
