Mumbai Airport Terminal 1

Mumbai Airport Terminal 1

Mumbai Airport Terminal 1, also known as the Santacruz Airport, is one of the oldest airports in India and has been in operation since the 1950s. Despite being smaller than the newer Terminal 2, Terminal 1 is still a popular destination for tourists due to its proximity to the city center and its historical significance. The terminal has witnessed many significant events throughout its history, including the arrival of the Beatles in 1964 and the emergency landing of an Air India flight in 1986. Today, it primarily serves domestic flights and is a popular hub for low-cost airlines.
