Aon Center in Chicago

Aon Center

The Aon Center is one of the tallest buildings in Chicago, nestled at 200 E. Randolph Street, in the thriving downtown area. This iconic skyscraper was completed in 1973 and was previously known as the Standard Oil Building before being renamed Aon Center in 1992.

The building stands at 1,136 feet and is the third tallest in Chicago. Its unique design, a white marble-clad square tower, has made it an iconic landmark in the city’s skyline. The Aon Center also features a deep-cut plaza, a reflecting pool, and a beautiful art fountain.

Visitors to the Aon Center can catch breathtaking views of the Chicago skyline from the 71st floor observatory desk. It offers panoramic views of the city’s Magnificent Mile, Lake Michigan, and the Wrigley Building, among other highlights.
