The hotel is set in a beautiful area with easy access to restaurants, a dive center, and beachfront lounging areas. The staff was friendly. The room was well-organized and provided direct access to the reef. Everything was perfect for a relaxing stay.

Well laid out and well-designed rooms with great view of the lagoon and tasty treats, as example, very excellent staff from the grounds staff through to the management. Easy check-in, late check-out. Main bar and amazing pool.

The stunning view of the endless horizon and the impeccably clean, newly renovated room made this place an amazing base for our trip, with a fantastic location and fairly friendly staff.

Picked Baros for our hiney moon because of customer feedback >9 and because was the only resort with on-water villa still available. Everything was taken care off from the time we arrived in Male. 20 min boat ride from the airport and we got to the beautiful island. We arrived early morn and management was kind enough to provide a temp villa to relax until 1pm check in. We were not so lucky with weather - cloudy/rainy 3 of 5 days there. But last two days were great with sun bathing and snorkeling. Food was very good. At the management orginized welcome cocktail, chef when heard our comments about stir-fry from prior day that was more on the teriyaki side, arranged a complimentary stir-fry, one of the best i ever had. If you decide to book with them, pick breakfast included option at least; complimentary prosecco was great with late breakfast. I had to do a little work and WiFi was excellent (2-3Mbits) considering such a remote location. Service was excellent, management attentive and caring. The staff even waved as we departed on the boat to the airport :)) Will definitely go back soon.

The island atmosphere was cosy and pretty with ample shade. Overwater villas were modern and well-equipped. The reef was in great shape, perfect for underwater photography. The food was delicious with a wide selection of fruits. Friendly staff made us feel welcome. The lagoon looked inviting, but weather prevented swimming. The Lighthouse bar was ideal for evening drinks.

Almost perfect.

The water there is wonderful; clear and clean. Snorkeling and diving is great! It's a treat for the senses to let your eyes wander; the colours of sea and sky are beautiful. Great photo motives! The service team is super nice, courteous and always concerned about the guest. The food in the restaurants was also very good throughout. The right place to rest and relax.

We expected more of the Baros Maldives. It lacks a little bit more luxury concerning the equipment of the villas (here specially the terraces), decoration in total and take care for the guests. Also, some of the villa equipment is already a little aged. Not comparable with many hotels of the same price range, especially in Asia, where we have been. Also not nice was the view to Male on the horizon that we had from our villa (Baros is very close to Male). The island is very small, so that one can hardly move on foot. You can walk around the island in 4 minutes, but you always have to climb over the footbridges, which are not very nice and therefore look ugly. And one always has to pass the narrowly located beach villas and/or their inhabitants. The Maldives! In the long run a little monotonous for us.

We loved the convenient location, just 25 minutes from the airport by speedboat. The yacht they picked us up on was a great touch, with cold towels and drinks provided. The staff, while some were not so great, overall provided a good service. The villa host was helpful with a late checkout, and the food was excellent with great portions. The activities offered were fun and of high quality. The house coral reef was fantastic for snorkeling, with clear waters and an abundance of marine life to see.

For us, it was ideal.

This place was pretty cool. The staff here were super attentive, from the top managers to the ground level staff. The location couldn't have been better - we could walk everywhere we needed to go. 🌴

The room was immaculate and nicely decorated, and I got to enjoy a beautiful sunset view after upgrading; the location was superb, right by an oceanarium and bars.

We absolutely loved everything about this place, it was incredible and exceeded our expectations. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of a fantastic restaurant, where you can enjoy a delicious lunch. It's great that this venue is positioned close to the airport, making it a quick and easy 20-minute drive.
