Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth

Amon Carter Stadium

Amon Carter Stadium is a football stadium where the TCU Horned Frogs football team plays their home games. The stadium was built in 1930 and has been in operation ever since, undergoing a major renovation in 2010 which improved seating capacity to over 50,000. In addition to the football games, there are plenty of events held at the stadium throughout the year, including concerts and community performances. The stadium is also well-connected and easy to access, with plenty of parking available nearby. Notably, Amon Carter Stadium was originally built for TCU's track and field team, and only later converted into a football stadium. Another interesting fact is that the stadium's location, on the TCU campus, was chosen because it was the highest point in the area, offering unobstructed views of the surrounding countryside.
