Bob Carr Theater

The Bob Carr Theater is a landmark in downtown Orlando, Florida, that has been serving the community since 1926. Originally called the Municipal Auditorium, it was built as a tribute to the veterans of World War I and was the largest air-conditioned building in Florida at the time. The theater was renovated and restored to its former glory in 1991 and was renamed the Bob Carr Theater in honor of the former Orlando mayor.

Today, the Bob Carr Theater is a cultural hub of Orlando and hosts a variety of performances throughout the year, including Broadway shows, concerts, ballets, and comedies. The theater has a seating capacity of 2,518 and has hosted notable performers such as Tony Bennett, B.B. King, and Ella Fitzgerald.

Aside from its impressive history and beautiful architecture, the theater also boasts state-of-the-art lighting and sound systems that enhance the audience's experience. The stage can be customized to fit the needs of each performance and there are multiple dressing rooms onsite for performers to prepare for their shows.
