     The modern entertainments that this city is packed with greatly reshaped its planning that makes it orderly looking.      Columbia was the first city named after Christopher Columbus, America's pioneer and was established in 1786 as a compromise capital to take a hassle out for conflicting factions of both Low Country and Upstate. Otherwise, go fishing to the confluence of two major rivers – Broad River and Saluda River, or join kayak and canoe enthusiasts. Also this city is family-oriented and in recent years it gained a reputation of ideal city for retirees.
