the valamar hotel was amazing. so clean! and it's in a great spot - super close to all the fun bars and the pools. and guess what? the towels at the pool are free, and they even give you sunshades! oh, and the staff was so friendly - they really stood out.

The swimming pool and terrace was not large enough for so many people.The hotel's exterior was not very friendly.

The food is pretty good....breakfast as well as dinner.

It needs some modernisation and a clean up. It looks a little bit tired. It is not that close to the city center as it appears to be. It is about a 10 to 15 minute walk.

I had a wonderful stay at a hotel in an amazing location. A 10-minute walk from the Old Town, and a pleasant promenade lined with cafes and shops. The room was comfortable, clean, and spacious with a beautiful bathroom. The buffet breakfast and dinner were outstanding, with a wide variety of delicious dishes. I never had a bad meal. The pool area was spotless and always had plenty of deck chairs and parasols available. The hotel had its own beach, which was just a short walk away and very pleasant. The staff were friendly, efficient, and welcoming.

Food was quite good and very pleasant and helpful staff at the reception desk.

Everything else, non mentioned above, was disastrous! Complete disappointment. Small room, without air condition, refrigerator, room safe. TV screen smaller than my sub-notebook monitor, no wifi available in room. Carpet on the floor worn out and dirty. Insupportable smell coming from bathroom (some kind of acid?) - we kept terrace door and window opened for hours to make air breathable. Beach was anything but inviting. We'll certainly choose another hotel for our next weekend!

It was cold but no heating system.

Loved the kids' playrooms, amazing wellness center, beautiful parkland and beach, delicious buffet, great sports amenities, and fun evening entertainment.

Oh, and let's not forget the lovely uncomfortable loungers by the pool that make sunbathing a real challenge!

The staff were all very courteous and helpful; they recognised my friend and I and that made us feel safe at the hotel. The reception staff recommended places to visit, suggested suitable clothing/footwear and somewhere for lunch which was excellent. The bar staff were amusing and helpful and some of the live bands in the evening were quite good - although they played to a less than full house each evening.

The picnic lunch wasn't worth having (a large soft roll, apple, water and a juice - instead of evening meal). The hot food at the evening buffet was not particularly great but the salads were plentiful and fresh. Our first room was cold - no heating at the hotel - and the sun didn't shine into it to warm it during the day - but they moved us after two days with no problem at all. For the price, not much to complain about.

Some of the employees were very nice, they should work in a more organized and good hotel. The food was ok and location is good very close to Porec and to the beach. The animation for the pool was very good

First of all is not a 3 star hotel , in my country barely coul consider a 2 star ,hasn´t air conditioned ,no fridge neither safe deposit in the bedrooms. The toilet it looks like the ones in seventies very poor. The breakfast and dinner was ok but they charge 18 kunas for an orange juice... It´s was very hot at night and it´s impossible to sleep with the noise of the streets and from another clients

This hotel is a gem. It's located in a prime spot near the seafront, the Laguna area, and close to the beach. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and clean with all the necessary facilities. The service is top-notch with friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast is delicious with plenty of choices available including vegan and gluten-free options. The pool area offers a relaxing experience with ample sunbeds available.

Some guests have complained about the condition of the beach, but overall, this hotel is a great choice for those who want to enjoy a luxurious experience without breaking the bank.

I recently stayed at Valamar in Porec for one night. The hotel's facilities are great, especially the pool area where you can enjoy free sunbeds, sunshades, and towels. The location is ideal, with main tourist attractions and the old town just a 15-minute walk away. The room was beautifully designed and spacious. The top-class hotel restaurant offers a buffet with a wide variety of dishes, including meat, fish, cakes, and fruit. The Wi-Fi connection throughout the hotel is excellent.
