This nice hotel is based in a nice building and has a gourmet restaurant. All very pleasant and incredibly nice personnel is at the reception desk and the restaurant. The rooms are spotless and reasonably large, with closet space and a telephone. The setting is awesome and favourable, close to the most amazing falls in the world, hike to Lower Yosemite Falls and a good base to.

Absolutely perfect and amazing location for visiting cafeterias and restaurants. A wide array of decent food.

Alexandra
The location was marvellous as for me, right by Lower Yosemite Fall, Cook's Meadow, and Yosemite Village, the waterfalls, and the chapel.

Will
Great location with beautiful views of Lower Yosemite Falls. Convenient shuttle bus stop and close to hiking trails. Comfortable beds and amenities such as free wifi, flat screen TV, and coffee maker.
Some rooms are in need of renovation, giving them a rustic feel. Internet speed was slow.

All in all you are paying for the location but the room was very nice although a little unclean. Great location with stunning scenery all around you. The food is pretty good (we used the food court which was basic and reasonable, and the bar which was very nice but pricey). They have a gift/supplies store onsite which we were expecting to be expensive but it was very well priced. Reception staff were excellent, but the service in the food court/bar was not as good as we had come to expect during our stay in the US (was OK though)
Room could have been a lot cleaner - bed and towels were very clean, but the whole room/bathroom would have benefited from a good clean - especially considering the price, and the "deluxe" description.

It was a city hotel that covered all our needs. The property was in a marvellous and brilliant location short walk to the attractions in the park and the restaurants and front desk and the upper and lower falls. Furthermore, in the valley.

We enjoyed hiking, walking and driving. I went to have a Sunday brunch at Awanee Hotel. It was raining and snowing hard, so we didn't have doing at night.
We'd like to have something to do at night.
