The breakfast with a local coffee outside and food enough, for instance was particularly nice for what you got.

functional and clean place should have higher than 4 star rating, everything is very comfortable. the units are new-fashioned, airy with a balcony. the authentic restaurant in the hotel is great, has hot dishes.

The room was spacious and comfortable, with a stunning sea view. The pool was a highlight, and we enjoyed spending our afternoons swimming and relaxing. The hotel staff were always helpful and friendly, and they even allowed us to check in early so that our baby could take a nap. The location is unbeatable, right in front of the beach. The breakfast was also fantastic, offering a great variety of options.

I like everything I experienced at this hotel.

We just stayed her eone night for exploring Algarve. Mostly elderly couples, and some families stayed here. Check in was smooth, and it was within easy walking distance of Monte Gordo Center.

Monte Gorde is not much. Just a hugh beach resort, with not much charme. The hotel is ok, but not the place itself.. If you only are looking for a long beach and nothing else, it may be your place. So the hotel can be recomended, but you find bette rplaces for 107 Euro..

I loved the value for money at this hotel. The room was fantastic, especially with the jacuzzi and the stunning view of the beach and lighthouse. The location was perfect, right by the beach, and the staff were polite and friendly throughout my stay.

Menu for breakfast could be improved with more variety and local food options.

We liked: • Location (right across the road from great beach) • The Large Room (a double and a single bed and still enough room for a small game of football) • The Large balcony

We didn’t like: • The bad breakfast • The incredibly hard beds • The wafer thin pillows • The missing/broken light bulbs in the room • The lack of any lights on the balcony (where are parents to go when the kids go to bed?) • Having to pay to use the Gym, Jacuzzi, Sauna • Having to pay for parking • The wait for the lifts every morning • The lack of hot water for a shower in the evenings • The shower water temperature fluctuation (not good with a young child) • The lack of WiFi! How is this possible in 2011? • The view (our room overlooked a camping park) – this did however allow us to tap into their free WiFi!) • The lack of a ramp to up to the main door (which meant carrying cases, up about 20 steps!) – and no, the ramp to the service entrance does not count as proper access to a hotel!!!

Breakfast was large, breathtaking views, magnificent location close to other shops, the nearest town Tavira and Tavira island and the beach and boardwalk. The rooms were a nice size, with a multi-channel television, a dining area and a sitting area. Authentic cuisine was served in the authentic restaurant.

My bed was not very comfortable, unfortunately.

The renovated lobby area looked nice and welcoming. The rooms, though outdated, were clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is located in a quiet area with a beautiful view of the beach from the balcony.

The staff at the front office were rude and unhelpful. The hotel also lacked basic amenities such as tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms.

The venue is modern, with fab food and magnificent location away from the seafront. Pleasant personnel, huge and airy rooms with views across to Vila real, a balcony, for instance. Plenty of food in the hotel, authentic restaurant. Perfectly pleasant experience there.

It is undoubtedly a modern option when you are in Monte Gordo. We think it's a unique base for staying in Monte Gordo. The room is big and there are breathtaking views over the beach.
