The property's location turned out to be very practical as you could:.

At the same time, you do get what you pay for and be prepared that the location is very tucked back in from the main street.

It cost around 400 baht to take a taxi from the new airport to this hotel.

The hotel receptionist told us that taxi drivers often overcharge the guests at the quality inn because it is so close to the airport.

The first night, we were given a room that was much nicer than the 2nd room we got - duvets, comfortable bed and a nice bathroom.

Our unit's bedroom had 2 queen beds with typically firm but comfortable mattresses.

Being a suite property, our's was a two room affair with a little kitchenette.

The bathroom was clean and perfectly adequate, with a marble vanity and floor and no sign of mold or mildew around the tub.

The Quality Suites kindly agreed to let us return to our recently vacated room, but advised us that their rate for subsequent nights would be 2,900 BAHT, and that we would do better using a travel agent.

4)eat at the local branch of the 13 Coins (Express) restaurant across the street (best bang/buck of any meal I've ever had in Thailand).

The hot and cold buffet breakfast, included with most rates, was quite substantial, with both an assortment of varying Thai and Western dishes as well as a cooked to order egg station.

This was an excellent "stop over" option and their breakfasts was above expectations.

What that means is that taxis are difficult to get unless you request one from the front desk and that there are no restaurants around there within walking distance (at least those that aren't entirely in Thai).

Breakfast was okay, but more oriented towards Asians.

The service on the domestic flight was great too.

The hotel was really close to the airport and efficient transfers were all part of the service.

The staff was nice, but the whole thing was a bit of a fiasco for me.

I've always found it strange how so many airport hotels are able to charge a premium for below par accommodations and service.

A small outdoor pool and gym were located off the lobby.

The hotel does have a free shuttle, but it only runs a few times a day, and when we arrived around 11pm, it had already stopped running.

The hotel shuttle then picked us up and we were able to catch up on some lost sleep.

The hotel staff was extremely helpful, the hotel was clean, the rooms are much larger than most hotels, and the breakfast buffet was suprisingly very good.
