    I recommend vacationers stay away from this hotel, for it is definitely worth paying extra money to stay at a real resort.

    A nice hotel, well worth the price and staff was very friendly and accommodating.

    The hotel has -minimal- (which is giving them some credit) food, and overpriced.

    The staff can at times be rude and the price of jet ski rentals on the beach is outrageously high, but the hotel itself is very nice.

    The location of the hotel is poor at best; there is absolutely nothing to do nearby!

    I would recommend Xanadu to anyone who wants a good location, a nice hotel, and a beautiful beach area.

    There is some confusion about the location of this resort but let me tell you we walked to everything.

    The place was so isolated, we had to get taxis to get to any services or restaurants and the taxi drivers worked for the hotel, so prices were outrageous.

    00 one way for all four of us to go there, or anywhere by taxi, but the local bus is only a dollar , but the bus stops are not close the Zanadu.

    The room was adequate (clean, good constant water pressure for the shower that stayed the same temperature, the bed was firm but not hard as a rock, air conditioning/heat worked, walls were not paper thin.

    Our room had an ocean front view, two full-sized beds, a small balcony, a tv and a bathroom.

    The furniture in the rooms, the bathrooms and beds all looked new.

    The staff was very unfriendly, the rooms smelled of mold, there were ants in our bed, we had no hot water and the water we did have came out orange.

    The only thing that would have made me rate this hotel 'excellent' would have been if they had our King size bed, but their hotel had a fire on the left side and burnt their king size bed rooms.

    Restaurant- Had breakfast there one morning and it was very good- Did not eat at the beach restaurant/bar, but many did considering it was Spring Break.

    As far as the restaurant, we didn't really eat much at the restaurantte so I can't give any advise on that plus member services gave us free breakfast/lunch every day.

    They had a bunch of restaurants around the hotel which I like, but I didn't care much for the restaurant in the hotel lobby.

    The restaurant and bar was very good and reasonably priced (compared to Port Lucaya).

    You get hungry you can eat at the hotel or walk to a bunch of restaurants(both fast food and sit down nice restaurants).

    The beach was fabulous, hotel staff was nice and the service was good.

    4) More on the service, it is dismal, the front desk clerks are not helpfull at all, even when they answer your questions.

    The only problem with the wifi was that the front desk staff know nothing about it.

    This seems to be relfected in the service staff as well.

    The rooms, lobby, restaurant, pool area, and hallways all looked brand new.

    We used the pool, gym etc, evereything nice.

    You do see trees, colorful furniture, and an old pool table, BUT it's all a trap because the elegance of this lobby did not do this hotel justice at all.

    The rooms were clean, seemed to be recently redone and smelled fresh.

    The Room was OK : it was big & clean YET could have used some fresh paint etc.

    In addition the whole lobby area is very clean, the staff certainly didn't go out of their way to accomodate you and the rooms had the fresh laid carpet smell to I like.

    Everthing had that shiny clean new look to it and the rooms had the fresh laid carpet smell to it which I like.

    The beach was really clean too, the staff were so nice and friendly, the room was absolutely beautiful.

      Nice beach, fantastic location and one of the best places I have been. In addition the whole lobby area is very clean, the staff certainly didn't go out of their way to accomodate you and the rooms had the fresh laid carpet smell to I like. The bars offer cheap drinks, the food in the restaurant is very good.

      The beach was awesome and the pool area was nice and clean. This place was excellent and on the upside the staff were fantastic. My room was beautiful and bar was very good.

      The elevator was old, the restaurant was small.

      The beach was nice and the pool area was fine cute clean. Additionally our stay was absolutely pleasant and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and food was nothing fancy.

      The beach was peaceful, the view was spectacular and the hotel itself was nice. The staff were very quiet, the beds were actually comfortable and sheets were clean. The restaurant was fine.

      A beautiful beach area, rideing a bus is cheap and most of the island is trying to make the best of the situtation. The hotel is awesome now and lobby are quite nice. The staff is very friendly, rooms are only cleaned.

      The mirror was broken is several spots and the food choices are lousy and expensive. The maids even washed our dirty dishes.

      The beach was gorgeous, views from our apartment were amazing and the hotel was very clean. The lobby gave a nice first impression and the maid service was fine. The room was huge, bars so that was cool and the drinks were good.

      The little convenience store there was closed permanently and the elevators were scary. The pool was not fancy.

      Private little beach, gorgeous location and as good as any other hotel room. Alot more comfortable than my bed at home, for the price we paid and inside the lobby area there is free wifi. The staff could not have been any more friendly or helpful and the hot tub wasn't in any condition to be of use at all.

      Taxi's can get expensive and the reasturant's food is awful.

      Fabulous view, the hotel looks pretty nice and the combination of the beautiful water. Complimentary breakfasts or drinks and has awesome pools.

      A marina that has no operating boats and very scary island - everything has bars on the windows. Service was slow.

      Balconies on every room gave us a great view of the beach, a condo studio - was pretty darn nice and the restaurant staff were ALL very friendly.
