A warm welcome from our host and tea and biscuits by the fire on arrival started off our weekend visit to the wintry Blue Mountains beautifully. Woodford of Leura is a lovely old house with all the modern conveniences for a comfortable and pleasant base from which to visit the local sights. Many thanks Danielle.

I really enjoyed the warm greeting/welcome provided by the owner. They made me feel very comfortable and they are friendly, approachable and lovely to chat to. Helpful, nothing was too much trouble. I was there for a race and the owner was able to facilitate for my needs. It was great to be able to relax and if I wanted adventure I could do that but if I wanted to have a relaxing break I could do that too. Not far from anywhere. Tourist buses come by close to stay and often. Not far from main town location. Quiet area too e.g. no noise disturbing sleep.

The hotel is clean. There is a very nice common room with fireplace. Nice collection of DVD and nice garden.
There are several things which we do not like: - the B&B is overpriced - it quite cold during evening - the "queen size bed" is not a queen size, but a double - the breakfast is served on a shared table with other guests (something which could like, but it should be advertised in the hotel page) - bathroom is quite cold - the breakfast does not fulfil the expectations raised by other reviewers. The hostess is nice but some people may find her a little too intrusive. In the end, the B&B is not bad, but it is certainly not a 9.7 stars facility - especially if you consider the price for what you get. We recommend this, but we advice to lower your expectations.

I liked the way the host made afternoon treats. These were an extra little touch. She also attended to any request made but was never intrusive. She advised us about local walks and good places to eat. She provided a newspaper each day of the weekend for guests to share.
There wasn't anything that I didn't like.

The B&B was beautifully appointed. We were greeted by a very warm & friendly lady named Danielle who was our host. She provided a wonderfully clean & tastefully decorated B&B. She was very helpful in all our enquires. We would not hesitate to return there again & certainly have highly recommended it to all we know that would be looking for accommodation in Leura or the Blue Mts.
Nothing. It was perfect.

The owner, Danielle, was there to great me with a smile on arrival and did everything to ensure our stay was pleasurable. The food was excellent and its proximity to town and the trails was perfect. We were there for tnf100 and the fact that those staying at the b&b were coming and going at weird and wonderful times didn't bother Danielle and in fact made her smile. Highly recomended!
