Winterhaven Hotel Miami Beach - 迈阿密海滩

The Winterhaven hotel is situated in a great location on the north end of Ocean drive.

Good location, very well located hotel and the front desk personnel were efficient.

I was actually in town for a conference at the Lowes from Dec 2-4, but we didn't want to pay so much for our stay the weekend before the conference, so we opted for the Winterhaven based on its location & proximity to the Lowes.

The airport/hotel transport, organised by the Winterhaven front desk, failed to arrive.

I loved it, spacious rooms with great facilities huge TV and wicked bed had a good view of the ocean and a maid cleaned the room every day, the air con was a hude bonus!

Yes, the rooms are basic, but well worth the cost because clean and adequately sized to hold a bed, TV, 2 end tables, desk, bathroom, and closet.

The room was spotless, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was beautiful and the amenities were exactly what I needed.

We had booked our room on-line with the hotel's own website (winterhavenhotelsobe), which DESCRIBES that ocean view rooms have either a king or queen size bed.

The hotel is very clean, nicely decorated and has a great porch for people-watching, eating your continental breakfast or enjoying a drink from the hotel bar.

Sitting out front on the porch and people watching was great while enjoying a mojito from the bar (great mojitos here by the way) or even while eating breakfast.

00 a day you receive a delicious continental breakfast, two drinks at the bar, a snack, beach towels, and two beach chairs.

The bar is great and the humble continental breakfast is a plus.

The Continental breakfast is better than most Hotels and they also include free drink tickets for the bar area.

The front desk staff was super, the maid service excellent, and we even liked the free breakfast.

Other than his rudeness, the front desk staff, doorman, and maids were very amenable and accomodating.

The reception/bar area is light, the Hotel is in a wonderful locations just on Ocean Drive and the staff is great.

Some pros: Wireless internet on the entire property including rooms and front patio by street; Parking garage 1 block away is $8 for the day and very convenient; Sun patio on 6th floor roof (no pool); Location close to everything.

Good price when compared to other resorts nearby, like Lowes; however, give up extras - pool, room service, fitness room.

Inside, there are a lots of things that would remind you about a cheap motel these are lobby, hallways and elevators are old and look dirty.

The only problem we had was that the wireless internet only worked about 30% of the time… we were on the 6th floor and there must not be any access points up that high.

Our mood soon changed after arriving at the Winterhaven as the lady on the desk completed our check in without any of the hassles that have appeared on earlier reviews, and our room was of a good size and spotlessly clean and tidy.

And despite what other reviews say, although the bathrom is small, its extemely clean and tidy and was actually the best bit of the room.

It's a beautiful, art deco hotel with clean rooms and a terrific staff.

The rooms were airy and well-equipped and very clean.
