This hotel is a great value for the price.
The Wingate by Wyndham is in a good location being within easy access to the freeway, restaurants and the attractions of Macon.
The water in the sink was running, there was an open bar of soap, there were hairs in the bed, the toilet was in serious need of flushing, and there were crumbs all over the floor.
The bed is one of the most comfortable I've had the privilege to sleep in.
The ABSOLUTE WORST part about this hotel are the beds in the room, which are truly AWFUL!
It looked like the room had been recently used and only the beds were made.
Rooms were way above average - flat panel TV, nice decor - very clean.
We arrived at Continental breakfast at 9:00 to find hardly any food left, even though breakfast service didn't end till 10:00.
Our included breakfast was a good choice of cereals, pastries fruit and waffles.
Near restaurants and shopping-very convenient.
The breakfast on Saturday morning was good as well.
However, some of the breakfast ladies were very lazy and never brought out promised items etc.
The staff at the front desk were friendly- there was a mix-up with my reservation, and it was fixed by the manager quickly-no problem.
The staff deliver EXCELLENT customer service.
Be aware this hotel is NOT owned and operated by Wingate, it's a privately owned hotel, with a staff that lacks customer service skills.
Clerk at front desk did not have key to the maid closet.
If you have kids the pool is pretty small and without the fence you would be able to tell the difference between it and the parking lot.
The lobby area has plenty of seating and is very attractively furnished and decorated.
Very comfortable after being on the road all day and clean lobby.
Clean lobby, great service and the room was comfortable.
The staff were helpful and friendly, our room was very clean.
Our room was very clean, in good condition, and very quiet.
Housekeeping sometimes took until after 4 in the afternoon to clean our room.
You will have a clean room, but no customer service.
