Windsor Court Hotel New Orleans - 新奥尔良

Obviously, the location is still great - outside of quarter, next to casino, and close to warehouse district.

As mentioned in several other reviews the location is outstanding, close to the Riverwalk, the Aquarium, Harrah's, the French Quarter, The Super Dome, and the Conference Center.

We walked almost everywhere and found the WC to be in the perfect location - across Canal from the French Quarter so it was quiet, but still very close to everything.

We had a driver scheduled to pick us up from the hotel to take us back to the airport, and after two attempts to get a bellman, my husband and I drug our items ourselves, I had several large boxes, thru the lobby and to the car.

You won't see this damage if you come from the airport to the French Quarter or Garden district.

Although there were 3 of us booked, they put us in the room we requested, a Suite with a King size bed, but didn't care to reserve a rollaway for us.

The room was enormous and gorgeous, with a huge balcony, incredible view, great bed, huge dressing room, huge bathroom, etc.

While I was on the phone the hotel receptionist verified our requests, non-smoking room king bed etc.

Please don't expect anything better than the other levels, still a plastic shower curtain, worn bed linens, and large but not updated or luxury baths.

Surely when reserving a room for 3 people with 1 King size bed, the rollaway is obviously required!

There were so many other restaurant choices that we never tried the Grill Room, but ended up at the bar (The Polo Club) after dinner a few nights and enjoyed ourselves - a nice "clubby" atmosphere, with a pianist.

We eat both a breakfast and dinner and let me tell you the food was out of this world and the service impeccable.

The excellent staff, huge bathroom and eating in their wonderful restaurant.

We had a couple of "issues" with the housekeeping staff, but fortunately the manager was able to take care of it quickly and she was cordial enough to provide us with a complementary meal in the hotel restaurant for our inconvenience.

We had drinks both nights in the Polo Lounge, and breakfast each morning in the N.

All the staff were very nice and helpful, even though some were doing "double duty"(the concierge also worked front desk and answered the phone for housekeeping once!

The concierge, bellmen and front desk staff were all very polite.

They also have a very large pool on the 4th floor that has a very well stocked exercise room including a sauna and steam room.

Also a relaxing outdoor Jacuzzi next to the pool.

The elevators are extremely fast, no option of a continental breakfast at lower costs and the gym is fine.

Free wireless and a very well lit vanity mirror.

Overall, the room was clean and nicely appointed.

The rooms we had (911, 915, 917, 918) were all clean, luxurious, comfortable although were a bit dated.

While I noticed some old furnishings in the room, I could tell the staff went to great lengths to make sure everything was clean and orderly until everything could be replaced.

At more than $350 a night you expect a clean room at the minimum.

The club level indicates that you will have fresh flowers and personalized stationary in your room.
